Jimin ~ Bestfriend pt. 3

Ever since Jimin got a girlfriend out of the freaking blue, you began seeing a guy from work too. You've been with each other for a month now and have went out on dates which were perfect. He's nice and dependable, very responsible. To be honest, he is all you ever wanted in a guy, but he's a few years older than you.

Your friends from work all say that it's okay even if he's older and said that having an older boyfriend is much more exciting, considering that he's more mature. You pretended to play dumb although you knew exactly what they meant by that; exactly what you and Jimin have been doing.

He didn't know about Jimin yet but you're going to tell him today as you're about to go on a double date with Jimin and his girlfriend. You wanted to say no but that would seem fishy. You didn't want Jimin to think of a reason as to why you didn't want to go. You didn't want him to think that you are affected by this. You shouldn't be because he's your best friend. Friends support each other.

"It's nothing." You told yourself as you fixed your hair up but quickly gave up because your hair just doesn't seem to get along with you today.

"Whatever. I don't care anymore. I'll just leave it like this." You irritatedly let your hair down, "Who am I trying to impress? It's not like we're going to a fancy place."

You're lying to yourself. By the dainty clothes you wore, you knew you wanted Jimin to notice. You also know he's not going to even look at you. He'll be all over his girlfriend for sure. With a dreadful look on your face, you headed out of your apartment and left.

Jaebum was waiting for you at the restaurant along with the other couple. You gave him a smile as he stood up and kissed your cheek and assisted you to sit beside him. Jimin sat across from you, his supposedly girlfriend beside him. You gave her a smile too.

"Y/N this is Faye." Jimin began the mandatory introduction, "Faye, this is Y/N, my best friend. She's the one I've telling you about."

"Oh my gosh. Hi! Nice to meet you. I've heard good things about you." She warmly smiled at you then back at Jimin.

"This is, Jaebum." You said, hooking an arm around Jaebum's arm. "We've only started to properly see each other last week."

"Actually, we've been working together for two years in the same company but, yeah, I only had the courage to confess to her now." Jaebum chuckled softly, being so sweet as he looked down at you and smiled. "And I'm glad I did."

"Aw, that's so romantic." Faye beamed at the two of you, "Jimin and I only met three weeks ago. It was really fast between us actually." She smiled at Jimin. "Tell them how we met, honey."

"Do I have to? It's not really romantic." Jimin was pleading her not to make him do it but he didn't have a chance on getting out of the situation.

"I know but it's worth to tell because you said you liked me the first time we met." She looked at him like a madly in love teenager. "You were also so sweet that time."

You raised an eyebrow at him, waiting for him to enlighten you and also wondering why he was being so sweet and out of character when he's ever done that even to you. Not to mention that you've been friends for the longest time.

"So I was teaching a dance class with our choreographer that day and she was in that class." Jimin explained dully but she didn't mind. If anything, she's more excited.
