Jungkook ~ Faded Memories

He grabbed her by the arm just as she went past him and pulled her back to face him. A cold, hard expression showed on his face, "Why did you go there without telling me beforehand?"

"Because I already know that you'll act like this, Jungkook." She told him directly. "I was avoiding this from happening."

"If you didn't want me mad, then you shouldn't have just met him in the first place, Faye." He replied through his gritted teeth.

She knew he had anger management issues but she never was scared of him because she knew Jungkook. He was getting along just fine with the therapy until now. Jungkook had issues and she was fine with it because he was willing to change for her but this, this is just over the top. She had to put a stop to his irrational behavior before he gets worse.

"I ended it with him. That's the only reason why I met with him." She pleaded him with her eyes but his anger got the best of him and he let go of words he didn't even mean;

"I don't believe you." He said, turning his back to her. "You proved me right. Go on and be with him. That's what you want, right?"

She was very hurt. How could he not trust her? She was with him all this time. She stayed by him all those times he needed her to stay and now he tells her she doesn't believe him. That hurt her the most.

"Fine. Let's not see each other again!" Tears brimmed around her eyes, "If you want me to go to him then I will. Watch me."

She placed the ring he gave her on top of the table and stormed out of his apartment. Jungkook sent his clenched fist at the dry wall, regretting the words he just let slip out of his mouth. He hated himself for not being able to control his emotions when it's about her. He hated not being able to tell her what he really wanted to say. He hated to be the reason behind her tears.

The sound of screeching tires and a loud honk from a car was too loud for Jungkook to ignore. Outside his window he peeked out, there was an accident just now at the intersection just in front of his studio apartment. Passersby were gathering at the horrid scene, the girl was wearing a red scarf that closely resembles the one he gave to someone very special to him.

Faye.

Without thinking, his feet moved to where she was. It began snowing as he stood frozen, a foot away from her. Jungkook's knees felt weak all of a sudden, almost giving out from under him but he found the strength to hold her. A painful tightening sensation started from his chest. He felt so helpless as they take her into the ambulance. The doors closed in his face, he was restlessness. Fear immobilized him as the doors of the ambulance closed in front of him.

Jungkook wished for nothing but for her to wake up as she held onto her cold hands tightly. He hated hospitals but she needs him to stay. Her vitals are stable as the doctor said but he will not feel secure unless he sees her open her eyes. Doesn't matter if she forgives him or not. He just want her to live.

"Do you know what day it is today?" Jungkook visited at the same time everyday, "It's your birthday."

He brought you flowers today. They smelled so wonderful. You wished so badly you could see them and feel the soft petals with your fingers. You wished you could open your eyes and see Jungkook. It's been two months since the accident happened yet you were still trapped. You couldn't bring yourself to wake up. You were both being punished and you didn't know how long until he finally gives up on you. Half of you wanted him to just leave and forget about you but half of your heart prayed that he stayed with you.
