kmhauthor's note;
hello guys.
It's been awhile since I wrote imagines and with this issue or plagiarism recently, I thought I needed something to do. That author still hasn't replied to my DMs but I did report her. She hasn't taken it down yet but I feel like I don't care anymore. I've said what I want and did what I can.Anyway, I've written a part two for this imagine. It's an arranged marriage concept. I know. Arranged marriage is such a cliché but what if they like each other from the start, right?
I have so many ongoing stories but I feel so tempted to make a book out of this. 💖

You haven't seen Hoseok since your parents announced to marry you off. That was almost a year ago. Aside from his instagram stories that you watch religiously, you haven't heard any news from him. You were confused. He confessed to you but then continues his life like nothing happened. You still see him with other girls, mostly on his posts and stories, even though you are technically promised to each other.
"Mom, do I really have to marry Hoseok?" You asked on a Saturday morning, over breakfast.
"Don't you like him?" My mother asked, preoccupied with making a sandwich for her lunch later at work. "I think you look good together."
You rolled your eyes at that moment, "Mom, are you marrying us off just because we look good together? All my childhood memories are horrible because of him. I was crying in all my birthday pictures because of him and you want your only daughter to marry him?"
"Aw, baby." My mother smiled at you, cupping your cheek, "You might not remember this but you cared about him a lot."
You furrowed your brows, "Uh, how?"
"Well, when you were small, you always asked me if you could go to Hoseok's house and you'd bring cookies to share with him." Your mother replied and you just gave her a look of utter confusion.
"I did no such thing, mother." You laughed in disbelief. "Maybe you're just fabricating stories to make me like him."
"Believe it or not. You did. You liked him a lot, Y/N." She smiled at you. "You can call your Dad and ask him. I need to go to work."
My mom left and you watched TV alone but you couldn't stop thinking about what she said. It couldn't be true. You have no memory of that ever happening. There's not a single cell in your body that liked Hoseok. Yes, he's attractive as a male specie but, still, not possible. You have never, in my life, liked him.
And so you called a friend for a second opinion. This friend is a guy and he's one of your close friends. He knows Hoseok too, has been to your terrible birthday parties so he knows of your history together.
"Can you believe my mom said that?" You said after you've told him the story and maybe exaggerated a bit. "It's not true."
"It is true." He says and you argued. "You liked him when we were young. Well, at least, that's how I remember it.."
"Are you in on this conspiracy too?" You exclaimed and he laughed. "Did mom bribe you?"
"Y/N, just admit that you like the guy. I mean he's not so bad." Namjoon said, you can hear loud noises from the background along with his occasional groans whenever his hero dies. "By the way, I saw him the other day at a frat party."
