JI MIN
"Hi." A guy spoke to me after my first class at my new school. I remembered he was the one sitting behind me. "I'm Taehyung. Full name, Kim Taehyung."
Yeah, I wasn't asking but okay! He seems cool. At least I have someone I actually know. I just hope he's not the weird kid of the class.
"Hi!" I said, mimicking his perkiness.
"So you're new." Taehyung started as he ushered me to my locker. "Where did you come from?"
"Busan." I told him with a light smile, "And you?"
"Daegu." He smiled widely back at me. He was cute. Although I was still unsure about him being my first friend, kind of.
I had some pretty bad friends from the past but now I'm just too tired of the same drama and since it's a new school, I was looking forward to something new like a change of scenery.
Taehyung didn't look like a bad person at all. He was nice, suspiciously nice, actually.
"Are you liking it here so far?" Taehyung walked beside me through the hallway filled with other students.
"I don't really have a choice but to like it." I half joked and he laughed along my sarcasm.
He gave me a quick tour of the school. It took us thirty minutes and then we ended up at the cafeteria where the stereotypical cliques were formed and molded.
Ah, yes, high school will not be high school without the social cliques; the mean girls, the jocks, the smarty pants; the weird goth kids and so on.
Apparently, Taehyung belonged to the cool kids. Honestly, I was not expecting that. He took me to their table. His circle of friends composed of five guys, not including him of course.
"Guys, this is Ji Min. My new classmate and guess what! She's from Busan too like our Jeon Jungkook." Taehyung clapped his hand at one of the guys back which I'm guessing as Jungkook.
Buckteeth, big brown eyes, and an innocent smile. The perfect recipe for the school's heart throb, not to mention, he's also talented in the arts as I have later discovered. He might be too mainstream but he's perfectly my style and I'm pretty sure he's liked by everyone.
I acquainted myself of the group and found them fun to be with. However, I felt uncomfortable. A pair of eyes have been stuck on me since Taehyung introduced me. The pair of black orbs belonged to the pale person sitting across me, Min Yoongi. Obviously, his hair was dyed, his roots seemed like they were suffering miserably but he pulled off the whole I don't give a shit look.
"You okay?" Taehyung leaned slightly towards me. " You look really stiff." He chuckled. "Do you want to eat at another table? We could totally do that-"
"Nah, I'm fine. I don't want to seem rude." I half smiled at him and he smiled back effortlessly before returning to their conversation about the hot homeroom teacher.
Boys. I almost rolled my eyes at the irony but my eyes were preoccupied with something else.
"You're staring."
I caught him smile at my little comment. He lifted his chin up from his palm, "Sorry. Did I make you uncomfortable?"
I put my utensils silently down on the food tray and then looked up at him, "Very." I told him and another crooked smile formed across his lips.
"I think I like you." Yoongi said, "I've never seen someone in this school who's as pretty as you, Ji Min."
I almost puked my gastric contents all over the table after hearing his obnoxious statement, "Well thanks, but no thank you. You can keep your comments to yourself."
"Hey, Yoongi! You're hitting on my new friend already?" Taehyung protectively came between the two of us. Thank God for this cute boy. "You're not allowed to look at Ji Min from now on!"

Yoongi has been following me for weeks. Everywhere I go he was there. I see him in most of my classes which he wasn't even enrolled in. Just what is he trying to achieve with this stupid stunt.
"Alright guys, don't forget that the essay is due on Monday. Enjoy your weekend."
Mr. Smith, our english teacher tried to hold the class for a minute longer but clearly failed to do so. Half of the class was already out of the room before he was even finished talking.
I wasn't in a hurry but when I saw him approaching me, my hands moved twice as fast at gathering my books.
I was about to return my seat back to its place but his hand was already on it, "Doing something over the weekend?" He asked.
I looked up at Yoongi's smug face, his smile effortlessly carved and perfected. I'm sure he made a lot of girls swoon over him.
"I'm doing something with Taehyung." I deadpanned.
"Really." He pretended to be dismayed, putting on his charms.
"Yes, really." I said then walked away.
I knew he won't let me escape that easily. Yoongi matched his pace with my hurried one. I was desperately looking for someone I know through the hallway of students but, unfortunately, there was no escape route for me.
"I'm sure Taehyung won't keep you that long. I'll make sure he won't." He whispered over my shoulder, like the devil. "So how about a date with me?"
I halted and turned on my heels, "I know what you're trying to do, Min Yoongi."
He faked a puzzled expression. It was cute but at the same time a well played act. "What am I trying to do? I'm not even aware myself."
I sighed and looked around. A few girls sending looks my way, "I will not be one of your french girls."
Yoongi laughed heartily, "Is that what you think I'm trying to do?" He then stopped laughing and glanced at my blank face, "I'm not a patient guy. Everybody knows that and you should've figured that out by now but here I am."
My brows knit together. "I'm not even going to lie about all the girls I've been with. It's true. I've slept around campus and it's not a surprise anymore. I'm not keeping it a secret and I'm also not ashamed of it. I just did it for fun because I was bored but even that couldn't keep me entertained."
I felt a surge of disgust towards him, "You're an asshole."
"I know. I can't help but be an ass." Yoongi smirked. He's so full of himself, "but, I can try to do something about it if you don't like it.." He added, his hand disappeared inside his blazer and brought out a single flower. "I could do more of this if you'd let me. Taehyung told me, you like gestures like this so I tried it even though I knew I would look stupid."
"Are you serious?" I questioned him, thinking that he was just messing with me.
"I'm dead serious here, Ji Min." Yoongi deadpanned. "I've never even done this before."
"You look like a head over heels idiot." I chuckled, "But I kind of like it." I took the flower in my hands and smiled at him for the first time, "Thank you. It's pretty."
"This is what makes you different." Yoongi said afterwards.
"Sorry? I don't get what you mean." I replied.
"You don't need to try so hard to keep me grounded, hell, you don't even have to do anything. That's what makes you different from other girls I've been with." Yoongi answered, he was never this honest before. He then flashed me a small smile, "You have me on my knees with the way you smile at me without any warning."
