xSweetdreams"Why are you here, Y/N?" He asked when he found you in his kitchen, cooking up a home cooked meal for him. It's what you do now most days.
You wipe your hands dry with a towel after washing up the pans and utensils you used then you faced him, "I made you lunch. I know you're still hung over so I also made soup. It'll make you feel better-"
"I'm asking you." Hoseok slammed his hands down on the sink and cornered you. "What are you doing here? I didn't ask you to come."
"I was just worried. You called me last night when you were drunk and you didn't sound good so.. I.. I thought I could check up on you or at least cook you something." You keep your head down as you stared at his chest. It's been already a year and a half since you met him and you still can't look him in the eye.
"Hey, I'm just gonna go and show myself out." A woman spoke and then you saw her come out of his room. She noticed you and Hoseok then a smirk formed on her lips. "Oh so you have a guest? Hi there."
Hoseok turned his back to you and purposely hid your face from the woman, "Just go."
"Fine, you don't want me to meet her. I get it. Bye." She said, smiling to herself.
"You shouldn't have come." He groaned as he move away from you and sat on the couch, cradling a bad headache.
"I'm sorry." You muttered and collected your bag from the kitchen counter. "I'll just go.."
"No. You're already here. Might as well have lunch with me." Hoseok said and went in the bathroom for awhile. You heard splashing of water so you figured he was washing up.
You sat across him during breakfast. You made all his favorite side dishes last night so he was eating deliciously. Hoseok wasn't really picky with food but you just have a sense of comfort when you see him eating well.
"Why aren't you eating a lot?" He noticed that you've barely touched your rice and was only eating some of the side dishes you prepared. "How's your school going?"
"It's okay." You meekly spoke.
"You really don't talk a lot." Hoseok smiled at you and you felt relieved that he wasn't really mad at you. You were feeling guilty about coming to his apartment without permission since it felt like you're invading his privacy too much which led you to think he hated you.
"I don't really have a lot to say." You replied, making him chuckle and ask, "Why not?"
"I'm kind of boring." You answered, lowering your head.
"I don't think you are." Hoseok said and you kept quiet until you were both done with lunch. Hoseok helped you wash the dishes. Even then, you were still quiet as you kept thinking about that woman he spent the night with. Of course, something happened between them. Hoseok never promised you anything so why are you feeling this awful emotion? Why do you keep having expectations?
"I'm sorry about earlier. I wasn't mad at you." Hoseok's arm wrapped around you from behind. He pulled you into his chest and you feel his comforting warmth against you, "I'm mad at myself.. because I keep disappointing you."
When did he start caring about what you think? You lift your head up and listened to him talk about the things on his mind. You felt his remorse. He felt that he wasn't doing enough to change himself. He wanted to change but, somehow, his past catches up to him and pulls him back again to where he was before. "I don't want to be like this forever."
