"Oh fuck this. I can't understand shit." I slammed the book close and had a little mental breakdown inside my head. It's the finals after the holidays and I need to pass all my subjects in order to keep my varsity scholarship.

But how can I do that? I have been reading the same page repeatedly for 50 minutes and it's like the words don't register in my brain. What the fuck am I going to do now?

"I'm doomed." I sighed and threw myself on the bed and then I heard the front door opening and slamming close. Namjoon.

Of course! Namjoon! Namjoon is the answer! I rushed out of my room and found Namjoon in the kitchen, looking for something in the fridge. He noticed me coming out of my room and smiled, "Hey Yoongs! Didn't know you were still home at this time."

"Uh, where am I supposed to be at this time?" I said, laughing a bit.

"No, I just thought you'd be going home. It's Christmas tomorrow." Namjoon replied, using one of his foot to close the fridge after he got a cup of juice.

"Ya, how many times do I have to tell you not to use your feet to move things?" I scolded him since he was the reason why we had to buy a new fridge and change the bathroom door last month. That was a lot of money that I could have saved up.

"Sorry. Force of habit." Namjoon grinned sheepishly  and played it off. "I'll remember that next time."

"Anyway, I need to ask you for a favor." I started as I followed him to the living room. "I need a little help with this book that I'm reading. You know, I was never the brilliant guy in class.."

Namjoon laughed at the way I described myself. He always found my self awareness funny. "I know, Yoongs, but at least you're athletic and very practical. I envy you sometimes."

"The guy with 148 IQ envies me. That made me feel better somehow. My professor needs to hear this." I laughed at his statement. "So, you gonna help me?"

"Sure. No problem." He shrugged his shoulders and I handed him the book. He read it for awhile, nodding his head here and there, while I watched him and animatedly see gears turning in his head. "It basically just says that a person has four different archetypes that represent themselves: The Persona, The Anima/Animus, The Shadow and the Self."

"Who the hell makes that stuff up?" I furrowed my brows at the new information that my brain is trying to register. It feels like my brain has left my body, "Were people in the past that bored?"

"Who knows? Maybe there were. Imagine a life with no Internet." Namjoon laughed but told me to listen so he can explain it in simpler words, "So the Persona is like a mask. This is what you want to show to the public. You want others to see you as a whole other person which is why it's called a mask. To hide your true self."
