Taehyung ~ You

He carried you behind his back. You embraced him tightly as though it would be your last. You hoped not. You never wished to be apart from him and you know he felt the same. You've never loved someone so much that you feared giving him false hopes. You feared that when the time comes, he wouldn't be able to accept the truth and he'd still come looking for you, carrying the pain that you put on him. You couldn't imagine him going through that. You didn't want to leave him like that.

"What is it?" Taehyung's voice snapped you out of your own thoughts. "You became quiet."

You lifted your head from his shoulder and shook your head, "I was just thinking what we should do tomorrow. It's your birthday, what do you want to do?"

"I wanna be with you all day." He told you.l and smiled, still carrying you on his back as if you were as light as paper.

You smiled widely, "Taehyung, put me down. I wanna walk together and hold hands."

"As you wish, princess." He said as he bent down and placed your feet on the ground. You took the hand he offered hand and found yourself not caring about anything else but him.

You both took your shoes off and went down to the shore. The beautiful ocean glistened under the orange sky. It always put a smile on your face whenever you come here with Taehyung. It was his favorite place in the world. He told you that when you started dating each other two years ago. Back then, you never thought your relationship would get this serious. You only dated him because you wanted to try being with someone. You wanted to experience what it's like having a hand to hold, having someone beside you but you never expected your simple wish was actually a curse that you'd carry on forever.

Taehyung pulled on your hand, taking you where the waves met the shore. You dipped your feet into the water just as he did, holding tightly onto his hand.

"Tae slow down. You might fall.." You told him because he kept pulling on your hand, wanting to make you experience one of the things he loved doing. Being carefree.

"I've already fallen." He turned to face you, fingers threading themselves in the space between yours. Taehyung smiled at you, "For you." He held your waist and pulled you closer, "And you?"

You stared into his eyes befpre opening your mouth to speak, "You've given me purpose, Kim Taehyung." Your hands softly brushing his cheek, "Thank you for loving me."

His hands went under your knees and you gasped when he ran further into the sea. You both laughed. You'll definitely not forget this because these kinds of moments are hard to come by and even harder to hold onto.

"Tae, we'll both fall!" You begged him to put you down and when your feet touched the ocean floor, a splash came in contact with your cheek. "You did not just do that!"

He gave you a sheepish grin, "Oops, my hand slipped." He raised his brows, challenging you, "Come on, Y/N."

"Oh I am coming for you." You cupped both of your hands, grinning as you used your cupped hands to gather water. "Come here!"

"Baby you gotta do better than that!" He shouted from afar, smiling without a care in the world, making you realize a thousand times how much you love him. "Y/N, I'm waiting! Come at me!"

"I'm going to catch you and-" You stopped, feeling your knees give out from under you and then you were falling.

"Y/N!!" Taehyung came rushing to you. You can hear the water splashing as he ran to your side. Your fingers touched the ocean floor, fingers clutching the wet sand. His hands gripped on your arms, he bent down to your level and cupped your face, "Y/N, are you okay? What's wrong?"
