The waiting room was empty and cold as you wait for Jimin to finish his consultation with the doctor. After he was badly injured because of you, his back was never the same. You knew it was causing him pain. Although he tries to hide it from you, you can see it still. You were worried about him so you've been trying to convince him to go to a doctor and get it checked. For weeks, you've failed until a few days ago, he finally agreed after a thorough negotiation: you'll come with him. It wasn't much on your part but it was a big deal for him. You know he was scared of what they will find. He didn't want to know what's wrong with him.
Jimin is an athlete. His dream is to get a varsity scholarship in one of the top universities in the country. He is an excellent Kendo player and very active in other forms of martial arts as well. Jimin's passion is limitless and you admire him for that. He always gets what he wants. People envy and praise him for that but what they didn't know is the amount of effort he puts in every single time.
"Y/N." You instantly lift your head when you heard Jimin call your name.
"Is it done?" You stood up and took your bag, "How was it? Are you okay?"
"Uh.. yeah." Jimin looked unsure as he gave you a smile. "The doctor said I need to come back and do some tests tomorrow for my back."
"Okay. I'll come with you again tomorrow." You replied and made Jimin smile at you as you help him put his jacket on.
Jimin held your hands just as you were about to move away from him, making you completely immobile. He stared at your lips before lifting his gaze to meet yours. "Thanks."
You shook your head. "This happened to you because of me."
"How long will you blame yourself? It's no one's fault." Jimin said and then he cupped your face between his hands, "Stop feeling sorry because I'm not. I'm glad I did it. I don't regret anything. Okay?"
"Okay." You nodded and earned a smile from him.
"I'm hungry. Let's eat before heading home." Jimin's hand slithered down your arm and interlocked them with yours.

As promised, you came to the hospital again with Jimin and waited for him in the waiting area while he gets a CT scan of his back. You spent half of the day in the hospital, Jimin did maybe two scans of his back before going to talk to the doctor again. His back pain looked serious when you watched the doctor examine him physically. Jimin grimaces everytime the doctor stretches his back and he notices that you were getting scared so he sends you a small smile everytime.
