Labor Day Weekend (Part 1)

The next day (Friday) Jessica gets a call from Sarah,

"Hello?" Jessica answers.

"Hey Jess, do you and Danny have any plans for this weekend?"

"No, not that I know of, why?"

"Well we were talking about going over to Galveston for Labor Day weekend, would you be okay to go?"

"Yeah I should be, it's only like a 5 hour drive, right?"

"Yeah!" Sarah answers.

"Alright well I'll talk to Danny but count us in!"

"YAY! We're gonna have to much fun!"

"I know, it'll more than likely be our last trip before our princess arrives!"

"Aw Jess, you're gonna get me all emotional!"

"Haha, how do you think I feel, I can't wait till she's here but the closer it gets the more nervous I get for giving birth! I just want here and for her to come out nice and easy!"

"Haha, you'll do great Jess!"

"Thanks Sarah, I'll let you go. Talk to you later, love you!"

"Love you too Jess, bye!"

She hangs up and goes over to the living room where Danny is, "Hey Danny, Sarah just called me and asked if we wanted to go over to Galveston for Labor Day weekend, I didn't think we were doing anything so I said to count us in. Is that okay with you?"
"Yeah that sounds fun, will you be okay though?" He asks concerned.
"Yeah I'll be fine, I'll call Sunshine just to be sure it's okay but I thinks it's fine. Plus the drive is only 5 hours away."
"Alright well then if it's okay and you feel comfortable going, then let's do it!"
"Yay, I'll call Sunshine!" Jessica says says.

She calls and gets an okay!

Later that day Jessica says, "Danny I need to go shopping for a new swimsuit, mine doesn't fit me anymore!"
"Alright babydoll, I'll take you shopping." He says giving her a sweet smile.

They next day, they are packed up and ready to go. Everyone meets at their house then leaves from there. Their luggage is in the truck, Jessica has her snacks packed and Lola on her belly since Jessica no longer has lap space.
They stop for breakfast first, then Jessica goes to pee before they hit the road.

They stop a few times before they make it into Texas for Jessica to pee, and with an hour left of their drive she text the group,
"Hey guys, I'm gonna stop at the next rest stop to pee! 😁"
Everyone gets out and to shop and buy food at a huge rest stop called Bucees.
Jessica gets a BBQ sandwich, a pickle, chips, Beaver nuggets (sweet corn puffs), a water and some chocolate fudge.
They get back on the road, but not before they take a group picture with Bucee the bever! (This is a real place in Texas btw ☺️)

They arrive in Galveston And stay at The Hotel Gálvez and spa.
"Ooh this is so nice!" Jessica says.
"So fancy! I feel so posh!" Kathy says making them laugh.

They leave Lola in the puppy daycare, check in and head to Millers Seafood for lunch.
Jessica orders the jumbo shrimp meal which comes with 12 jumbo shrimps, sweet tea and two sides, she chooses fries and mashed potatoes. Since shrimp is the only seafood she can eat while pregnant, she didn't really have an option, but didn't mind it.. She ate every single bite making a happy plate.

After lunch they all head over to The Kemah Boardwalk (It's a place with tons of rides, games and restaurants).
Sarah, Evan, Danny, Angela, Ryan, Lilly and Kathy go to ride the rides while Jessica, Gabourey and Taissa go to the gift shops.

"Jessica look for Gabby!" Taissa says holding up a little onesie that said "I ❤️ Kemah Tx"
"Aw that's adorable!"
Jessica found a ton of cute clothes for the baby, when they walked out, the rest of the group had just finished riding the "Aviator".
"WOO that was awesome! We have to come back after you have the baby Jess!" Danny said wrapping his arm her.
"I know, I love it here! Plus I wanna get on these rides, except maybe not that one..." She says pointing to a ride called "The Drop Zone" a ride that takes you 140 feet in the air and free falls down.
"Are you kidding, that's where we're going next!"
"Danny!"
"What babydoll?"
"It's scary, be carful!"
Danny smiles at her cuteness and says, "Don't worry, I will honey."

She follows them as they get on the ride and watches Danny drop 140 feet in the air.

Later on they do more shopping, they walk into a toy store and everyone buys Gabriella so many toys. "Aw, you guys don't have to do that!" Jessica says as everyone is walking around with their hands full of toys.
"Of course we do Jess! She's our American Horror Story Baby! She along with you and Danny are family!" Ryan says as Evan adds, "Yeah! Her uncle Evan is gonna spoil her even more when she's born!"
"Aw stop it, y'all are making me cry!" Jessica says trying to stop a tear and fanning her face.

They ride the train then end their day eating at The Lighthouse Buffet...where you know Jessica ate everything!

Alright you guys, just a little fun fact.
I'm from Texas and I thought it'd be cool if I could incorporate some things from my home town.
Yes I know Galveston is not the prettiest beach but let's just pretend it is!
The food I had Jessica eat at Bucees and at Millers seafood is what I actually order at those places! Haha like I've said before, I'm a ballerina but I eat like a fat kid! Haha, I hope you guys are still interested in this story, I really appreciate all the likes and comments, love y'all! 😘😘😘
