Recital day...

They got up early, Danny made breakfast and Jessica got herself ready first.
She curled her hair, did her makeup and got dressed.
She came back downstairs and said, "Gabby I want you to eat now because when you get your costume on, all you're gonna be allowed to do is sit there, okay?"
"Okay!  Mommy, you look pretty!" She smiles.
"Thank you baby!" She walks over and kisses her forehead.
"Are you excited for today?" She smiles.
"Yeah!  I gonna dance!"
"Yes you are, baby!  Mommy can't wait to see you!" She smiles and runs her hand on her cheek, then walks over to Isaiah.
"Mommy!  Mommy!" He reaches for her and bounces up and down in his seat.
"Hello, handsome!" She grabs his hand and kisses his cheek.
Jessica walks over to Danny and smiles, "Good morning."
"Good morning, babydoll!  You look beautiful." He smiles.
"Well thank you!" She kisses him.
"Are you ready for today?"
"To see my baby dance?  Of course!"
"Well of course for Gabriela, but are you excited to dance?"
"Nope!  And we're not gonna talk about it, okay?" She puts her finger on his lips.
"Why not?" He laughs.
"Because I want to eat my breakfast in peace and not think about it!" She smiles and sits down.

Later that day...

Sarah,  Evan, Kathy, Ryan, Angela and George all went to go see the recital.
Danny sat in the audience until the second act.

Meanwhile, backstage...

"Girls, you need to sit down or I'm going to go get your mommy's!" Jessica tells the girls.
"Yeah!  I want my mommy!" One yells.
"Oh crap!" She quietly says to herself.
"You will see mommy after you dance!  Now sit still and catch a bubble!" Jessica says as she fills her cheeks with air.

One little girl starts crying so Jessica picks her up, "Aw baby, what's wrong?"
"I want my mommy!" The little girl cries and lays on Jessica.
"You'll see your mommy in just a little while, okay?" She rubs her back and tries to comfort her.

Gabriella sees her and gets mad.
"No!  That's my mommy!  Get off of her!" She pulls the little girl's arm.
"Gabriella stop it!" She grabs her arm.
"But she's not your baby, I am!" She gets tears in her eyes.
"I know you're my baby, but she's sad right now so I'm holding her.  Now don't cry because your mascara's gonna run.  Then you'll look like you have back lines all over your beautiful face!" She smiles.
"Mommy can you hold me?" She pouts and looks at her with big, sad eyes.
"Yes baby." She picks her up and puts her on her other leg.
"Mommy..'' Gabriella grabs Jessica's face and turns her to face her.
"What baby?"
"I don't like you holding other girls... And she's not my friend!" She kicks the little girl.
"Gabby stop that!" She yells then asks, "Well don't you want a little sister?"
"Yeah!" Gabriella smiles.
"Well I'm gonna have to hold her.  Just like I have to hold you and Isaiah."
"But I'm the baby girl."
"I know you are.  Don't worry about it princess, mommy's not having another baby anyway!" She laughs.
When Jessica said that, music started and all Gabriella heard was, "Mommy's having another baby."
"Mommy's having a baby?!" Gabriella's eyes widen.
"No!  I said I'm not!" She tells her as they come get the class to go side stage.

Gabriella jumps off of her and tells her teacher, "Mommy's having a baby!"
"Oh really?!  Congratulations Jessica!" She smiles.
"No!  Hah!  I'm not pregnant, she misunderstood me.  I am definitely not pregnant!" She laughs.
"Oh!  Okay!" The teacher laughs.
"Gabby, mommy's not having a baby!" Jessica bends down and grabs her hand.
"Yes mommy is!" She smiles, rubs Jessica's stomach then follows her class.
"Oh God." She sighs and grabs her head.

Jessica waits beside her in the wings and bends down to her level, "Baby, you go on stage and give it your all!  Mommy will be right here watching you, and I know you will be amazing!" She smiles.
"Thank you mommy!"
"I love you, Gabby." She kisses her cheek.
"I love you too, mommy." She kisses her back then kisses her stomach and says, "I love you too, baby!"
Jessica grabs her hand and says, "Gabby, there's not a baby in there."
"But mommy, I asked Jesus for one to be in there, so he's gonna give you one!"
"One day maybe he will Gabby, but not today.  You're about to go on, so I'll see you after you finish!" She smiles and fixes her hair.
"Bye bye, mommy!  Bye baby!" Gabriella waves.
Jessica laughs then sighs and watches from the middle wing.

Gabriella dances and bring tears to Jessica's eyes.
She meets her on the other side of the stage and picks her up, "Good job, Gabriella!  You were so good, baby girl!"
"Thank you!  I was the best!" She smiles.
Jessica laughs and says, "Well yeah, but we don't say that out loud!" She kisses her cheek.

During intermission Jessica took her to the audience.
"Gabriella!" Sarah runs over and hands her a teddy bear with a tutu on it.
"You were so beautiful!" Evan smiles.
"Yeah, you were the best one up there, princess!  You didn't even watch the teacher!" Danny takes her from Jessica.
"Yeah cause I good!" She smiles.
"Yes you are, sweet girl!" Kathy smiles.
"I think she's gonna be a star like her momma!  Did you see that stage presents?!" Ryan says.
"I know!  But I have to say since I've known Jessica the longest!  She wasn't always like that, so Gabby's already ahead of her!" George chuckles.
"Hah!  Thanks George!  But yes, my baby is very talented!" She smiles and rubs her arm.
Gabriella looks over at Isaiah, who is in Evans arms and says, "Zaya, guess what!  Mommy's gonna have a baby!"
Everyone gasps and looks at Jessica.
"What?!" Danny's eyes widen.
"Did she just.. did she just say-?" Angela struggles to get the words out.
"Jess, you're pregnant?!" George asks.
"No!  She misunderstood me and now she keeps telling everyone that I'm pregnant... I'm not!" Her eyes widen.
"Are you sure?  I mean, maybe you're a little plumped but-" Danny says as Jessica cuts him off.
"Danny no!  I'm not pregnant!  and you're an asshole!" She hits his arm.
"That's not what I meant, I'm sorry!" Danny apologizes.
"We gotta go, we still have to get dressed." He tells her.
"Y'all go, we've got Gabby!" Sarah takes her.
"We're so excited to see you two!" Ryan smiles.
"Oh God!" Jessica says with a nervous smile as she grabs her stomach.
"You okay?" Sarah asks.
"Yeah, just nervous."
"Nervous or morning sickness?" Sarah smiles.
"Nervous!" Jessica gives her a look.
"Alright, well have fun." Her smile fades and she goes to take her seat.

Jessica and Danny change into their costumes and go side stage.
"You look adorable, Babydoll." Danny kisses her.
"Thank you, so do you." She smiles.
"Are you sure you're not pregnant?  I flip you and throw you all over the place in this dance and that baby will be hanging on for dear life!" He chuckles.
"Haha!  I am one hundred percent positive that I am NOT pregnant!"
"Alright, then let's do this." He winks at her.
"Yep!  We got this." She puckers her lips and smiles.

Danny and Jessica killed it.  The whole time they were on stage, Gabriella was dancing on Evan's lap and yelling their names.

When the curtain closes Jessica jumps up and wraps her legs around Danny, he kisses her and spins her around.
"That was amazing Babydoll!" He smiles.
"Hah!  Tell me about it.. Stud." She smirks and slightly raises her eyebrow at him.
"I think I'm gonna have to have you in the mens bathroom." He whispers in her ear then nibbles on it.
"What are you waiting for then?"
He looks at her with a smile on his face and asks, "Really?!"
"Yes!  What are you waiting for?!" She laughs before he runs her to the bathroom.
