They get up and head to their first appointment with their midwife.
On the way there Danny looks at her sitting next to him, her window was down, the wind blew thru her beautiful blonde hair.
"You look beautiful today Mrs. Huston." Danny says with a smile.
"Well thank you Mr. Huston!" She says giving him her cute puckered up lips.
They stop at a red light and Danny says, "I love those little lips! Give me a kiss!"

When they arrive a nice woman greets them, "Hello, I'm Sunshine! How are you?"
"I'm great, thank you! I'm Jessica Lange and this is my husband Danny Huston."
She gives them a friendly hug and says, "Well it is very nice to meet the both of you. Shall we get started?"
"Of course." Jessica says.

They walk to the back, "Alright first we're gonna do your glucose text." She gives her a cup and Jessica goes to pee in it.
She comes back out and the results come back great.

Jessica was wearing a sundress and was asked to remove her underwear. "Alright mommy go ahead and lie down." Sunshine says, she puts a sheet under her stomach, picks up her dress then starts to feel and press on her belly to feel the position of the baby.
"Is it making you have to pee yet?" She asks.
Jessica giggles, "Just a little bit!"
"Well don't worry we're almost done." She says with a smile.
Danny watches amazed how the midwife is moving Jessica's belly, and how you can see the shape of a little baby in a curled up ball when she presses down.

Next she measures the baby, "You're measuring at 21 weeks and that's good because you'll be 21 weeks on Friday, correct?"
"Correct!" Jessica answers.

"Now for the fun part!" She says taking out the doppler to hear the baby's heartbeat.
She puts it on her belly and they hear the sound that is beautiful music to their ears.
"That's our baby!" Jessica says as she holds Danny's hand.
"Her heartbeat sounds great, she very strong!"
"Just like her momma!' Danny says.
She smiles at Danny and taps his hand, "Oh stop!"

"Alright, go ahead and lift up your legs for a second and I'll give you a quick check."
She checks Jessica and everything looks good.

"You know we can do a 3d ultrasound now if you want. Between 20 and 30 weeks is the best time to get one, anything after that will be hard to see due to how big she'll be. I like giving them around this time and one around 27 weeks because by then she have more fat on her."
"I'd love to have one now!" Jessica says in an excited voice.

She puts the gel on her belly. "Hey it's warm!"
"Yeah we like it to be warm to make you feel more comfortable."
"Well I love it!" Jessica says with a smile.

She starts the scan the baby shows up on the screen.
"Look at how much she's kicking!" Danny says.
"I know, it's crazy to be able to see what I'm feeling." She says as the baby gives her a big kick.
"Woah!" They all say watching the screen. "Well I definitely felt that one!" She says with a giggle.
She moves it to get a better view of her face.
When they see her face Jessica immediately tears up and says, "Oh my gosh she's perfect!" "She's beautiful, just like her mommy!" Danny says as Jessica looks up at him and he kisses her forehead.
"Look Jessie she's making your pouty face!" Danny says in a very happy tone.
"Aww she is! Look at those cute little lips!"
Danny gets close to Jessica and gives her kisses on her cheek. "I love you baby, you're amazing!"
"I love you too baby!" She turns to give him a kiss on his lips.
"Danny, I know this might sound weird but seeing her little face makes me feel something special...and I know her name, the way she looks, the way she feels... This name keeps standing out to me."
"I know what you mean baby, and I feel the same way. I know her name too." He says as they both look into each other's eyes smiling.
