Two fools in love

You think I'm cute?

The next morning Jessica gets Isaiah from his crib.
"Zaya!  Merry Christmas, baby boy!" She kisses his chubby cheek.

"Merry Christmas, Isaiah!" Danny stands behind her and looks at him.
Danny makes faces and makes him laughs.
"Oh Mr. Isaiah, you're full of giggles today aren't you?" Jessica says in a cute voice.

They go into Gabriella's room to wake her.
"Wake up princess, it's Christmas!" Jessica smiles.
"It's Christmas?!" She jumps up.
"Yeah baby, Santa came!"
"Oh Santa came alright." Danny smirks at Jessica.
"Daniel!" She gives him a stern look then says, "It's Christmas morning, get your head out of the gutter!"

They go downstairs and Gabriella runs to her presents.
"Ahhhh!" She screams.
Jessica laughs and says, "Look at all your presents, baby girl!"
"Yay! Thank you mommy! Thank you daddy! Thank you Santa!"
"You're welcome princess." Danny smiles.

"Isaiah, you have a lot of presents too, baby!" Jessica sits on the floor and sits him in her lap.

They take their time and to open their presents.

"Gabriella go give this to mommy." Danny hands her a present.
"Okay!" She grabs it and runs over to Jessica.
"Here mommy!"
"Oh thank you Gabby! Is this from you?!" She smiles.
"Uh.. Yeah!" She giggles.
Jessica laughs and opens it.

"Oh Danny, this is beautiful!" She smiles.

They always loved giving each other handmade gifts or something from the heart.  Even though they both still gave each other, other gifts, there was always some, more special than others.
Danny gave her a framed collage of the kids with their feet and hand prints on the inside.
There was writing on it that said, "Mommy, we love you to the moon and back.  Thank you for everything you do for us.  Merry Christmas love, Gabriella and Isaiah!"
"Awe this is so sweet Danny!  Ah and look at those cute little feet!" She smiles.
"I wanna know how you got them to be still and actually do this without getting paint all over the house!" She laughs.
"Hah! It was quite a challenge!"
"Well I love it, thank you Danny!"
"You're welcome, Babydoll." He smiles.
"Thank you Gabriella!" She smiles and puckers her lips.
"You're welcome, mommy!" Gabriella kisses her.
"Thank you, Isaiah!" She tickles his tummy and kisses the top of his head.
He laughs and blows little bubbles with his mouth.

"Gabriella, give this to daddy!"
"Okay!  Here daddy!"
"Thank you, Princess!"

"Oh my gosh, this is awesome!" He smiles.

It was a dark blue shirt that had "Team Huston" on the back and the number "13" for the year they were married.
"You like it?!  We all have one!" She giggles.
"I love it!  You're so awesome, Jess." He crawls over to her and gives her a kiss.
"Awe thank you!  I'm glad you like it!" She smiles.
"I love it!  Team Huston for the win!" He lifts his arm up.
Jessica laughs at how cute he is and leans in to kiss his lips.

Later that day their families came over.

"Uncle George!  Uncle George!" Gabriella yells as she runs to him.
"Hey Gabriella!  How's my favorite niece?" He picks her up.
"Good!  I missed you!"
"Aw I miss you too, Gabriella!"

Since George has moved into his own place, Gabriella has been missing him like crazy.

"When ever you miss me just tell your mommy or daddy and you can call me okay?  I'll call you more often now that I'm situated.. Or I could just come by and play dolls with you and we can have more tea party's!"
"Yeah!" She gets excited.
"Yay!" He laughs.

"Gabriella, come to auntie Ann!"
"No!" She puckers her lips and holds onto George.
"She only likes me, Ann." He laughs.
"Jessica, your daughter doesn't like me!"
"She doesn't like a lot of people, don't feel bad." She rolls her eyes.
"She likes George!" Ann whines.
"Ann, it's not that she doesn't like you, she's always been very attached to him, and plus he's lived with us since before I had Isaiah!  And she's a brat!"
Ann laughs and says, "Well Gabriella I love you!"
"That's nice." Gabriella looks at her.
"Gabriella!  Be nice to your aunt!  Tell her you love her too!"
Gabriella gives Jessica a look then lays on George.
"I'm sorry.  She's a mess." Jessica nods her head, rolls her eyes and taps Gabriella on the butt.
"Don't you touch my booty!" She lifts her finger at Jessica.
"You see what I deal with!" Jessica fakes a smile.
Ann laughs and says, "She IS a mess!  But at least she's a cute mess" She smiles and rubs Gabriella's back.
Gabriella turns to Ann and says, "You think I'm cute?"
"Yes I do!" Ann smiles.
Gabriella giggles and holds her arms out for Ann to take her.
"Oh MY god!" Jessica says looking at Gabriella.
"What a brat!" She laughs.

While everyone is talking and eating, Danny pulls Jessica aside and says, "Jessica I know now may not be the right time but.."
"No Danny I will not have sex with you!" She says in a stern voice.
"No not that!  I want you to come with me to Chicago."
Jessica sighs and says, "Danny I already told you, I can't."
"But baby it's our anniversary!  Please come with me."
"Danny I wish I could.  I really do.  You have no idea how much this is ripping me apart.. but baby I can't leave the kids for that long.. I can't!"
Danny swallows hard and looks upset.
"Alright.. I.. I understand."
"I'm sorry, baby." She caresses her fingers on his temple and looks at him as he stares down at the ground.
"It's okay." He looks up and gives her a small closed mouth smile.
"Aw, come here!" She hugs him.

He wraps his big strong arms around her tiny body and takes in her sweet scent.
"I love you, Babydoll."
"I love you too, Daniel."

They stay in each other's arms for a while then return to the party.
