Daddy's Princess

A while later, Dorothy laid Gabriella and Isaiah in the bed together and went to the living room to talk to Danny and Jessica.
"So?!  Did you find out?  Is it a boy or girl?!" She smiles.
"We don't know, the damn baby had it's legs crossed!"
"Jessica!" Danny laughs.
"I'm sorry sweetie, mommy loves you." She rubs her stomach.
"But yeah, we tried everything and nothing worked!  They are one stubborn child." She laughs.
"Oh that stinks!"
"Yeah, but we're going in a couple days and hopefully it'll we'll be able to tell.  Damn, I'm just glad we didn't plan a gender reveal party for today after the ultrasound!" She tells Danny.
"That wouldn't have been good." He chuckles.
"Nope!  So how were the kids?  I hope they weren't little devils.. Especially Gabby." She chuckles.
"Oh no!  Not at all!  They were perfect angels.  We had a great time.  Thank you so much for letting me watch them."
"No problem.  It works out great with Sarah being pregnant and soon having a baby, she and Evan might not be able to watch them as much.  I'd love for you to spend more time with them."
"Well you just call me and I'm here!"
"Thanks, mom." She smiles.

A few days later.
Danny and Jessica lay in bed and relax a while before the kids get up.
Danny lays on his stomach and talks to the baby.
"Hi baby, it's your dad.  I just want to let you know that we're going to see you today and it would be greatly appreciated if you cooperate for your mother and I."
Jessica laughs and all of a sudden the baby kicks where Danny's hand is.
They both gasp and slightly jump back.
"Whoa!  Was that the baby?"
"No, gas.  Yes it was the baby, Danny!"
"Oh my gosh!  I just felt the baby move!"
Jessica smiles at how cute he is.
"Hi baby!  Does that mean you're gonna listen to your mommy and daddy today?  Huh?  Or does it just mean that you want daddy to shut up?" He says as the baby kicks.
"Haha!  Shut up, dad!" Jessica says in a cute voice as she laughs.

They get the kids ready and head off to Sunshine's.

Before she started the scan she asked, "So what do you think the baby is, Gabriella?"
"I think it's a girl!" She smiles.
"And what about you, Isaiah?"
"Baby!" He smiles and lifts his hands.
"Well you're right, Isaiah, it is a baby!" She laughs then says, "Well lets find out.  Jessica, go ahead and lie back." 
Since it was a midwife, they had huge comfortable beds there.
Gabriella and Isaiah climbed all over it.
"Kids, calm down.  We're about to find out what we're having!" 
As soon as Sunshine scanned over the baby's private area, they all knew what it was.
"Whoa!  There's no denying that!" Danny smiles proudly.
"That's a boy!" Jessica laughs and points to the screen, before she says, "You can't tell me that's not a boy!"
"You're right!  It's a boy!" Sunshine smiles.
"Aw!  Oh it's a baby boy!" Jessica cries.
"I love you, baby!" Danny kisses her.
"I love you too!" She smiles before she turns to the kids and says, "Did you hear that?  It's a boy!"
"What?" Gabriella looks at her with a face like someone just killed a puppy in front of her.
"It's a boy!  Isn't that cool!"
"No!  I wanted a girl!  I thought it was a girl!!!" She cries.
"Gabriella!  Stop crying!  You're gonna have another little brother!" Jessica tells her, trying to get her excited, but that only made things worse.
"Ahh!  No!  I want a sister!  I don't want another brother!  I don't want another brother!"
"Gabriella, stop it!" Danny tells her as she lays on the bed and sobs.
"I'm so sorry, please excuse her!" Jessica tells Sunshine.
"It's fine!" She laughs.
Danny picks her up and says, "Gabby, you're being a little brat, now stop crying or you'll get a spanking!"
Jessica looks at Isaiah and says, "Are you happy that we're having a boy?"
"Yeah!" He claps his hands.
"Well good!  You're gonna have a little brother, Zaya!" She pulls him close to give him a kiss on his head.
"Baby!" He smiles and pokes her stomach with his little finger over and over again.
"That's right, there is a baby in there!" She smiles as he gets up and kisses her stomach.
"Awe, you're so sweet!  Thank you!"

After crying almost all the way home, Gabriella tired herself out and fell asleep.
"I cannot believe she cried that much!" Jessica said to Danny.
"I know, I mean I knew she'd be upset but damn!"
"Aren't you glad that we didn't find out with everyone around like the way we did when we found out Isaiah was a boy?" She chuckles.
"Oh God, yes!"
"Zaya was happy though!"
"He's always happy!"
"That's true.  Our kids are like night and day.  They are so different!"
"Very!  I wonder how this little guy's gonna be?" He smiles and puts his hand on Jessica's belly.
She smiles down and says, "Oh my gosh!  We're having another little boy!  I'm so excited!"
"So am I!  I knew it was gonna be a boy!  I knew it!"
"Yes you did.. and I felt deep down in my heart that it was a boy.  I'm so happy because I don't know if I can handle another girl." She laughs.
"I think our Princess is the only girl we need right now."
"You got that right!"
"My two girls are gonna be outnumbered though!" He pinches her cheek and chuckles.
"We sure are.. but we can still kick your ass!" She says making Danny laugh.
"That's true." He sighs.

When they get to the house, Danny carries Gabriella in and puts her on the couch.
"So now we have to plan the gender reveal party!" Jessica gets excited.
"I'm gonna call Sarah and tell here to get over here, right now.  I can't wait!"

Later when Sarah and Evan get there Jessica can't hold it in any longer and says, "Danny and I are having another boy!" She smiles big and jumps up and down.
"Oh my God!  No way!  Oh I'm so happy for you!" She hugs her.
"That's great you guys!  Congratulations!" Evan shakes Danny's hand.
"Thank you, we're so happy!"
"Well, most of us.." Jessica looks over to Gabriella who's still asleep on the couch.
"Ooh.. She's not happy, is she?"
"Nope." Jessica nods.
"She'll get past it, I think it just came as a shock to her.  Isaiah on the other hand is so happy and it's literally the most adorable thing ever!"
"Aw!  Well he's a sweetheart!" Sarah smiles.

"Daddy?" they hear a little voice.
"Yes Princess?"
"Come here." She calls him over.
"Oh no, you've been summoned." Jessica says as she looks at him with wide eyes.
He chuckles and walks over to her.
"What's wrong, baby?" He kneels down on the side of the couch and talks to her as her cheek is pressed up against the cushion.
Daddy... Is the baby still a boy?" She asks in a low and shaky voice.
"Yes.  He's still a boy."
"It wasn't a dream?  A bad bad dream?"
"No Gabriella.  It was real life.  But you need to stop talking like that.  It's gonna hurt mommy's feelings.  You don't want to hurt mommy's feelings, do you?"
"No... But She should have made a girl." She pouts.
"Sweetie, your mommy has no control over what God has given us.  Your mother and I love you and your brother more than anything in the world.. and we already love this new baby just as much.. and you know what?  I know he loves you too."
"He does?"
"Yes, and when daddy hears you say that you don't want another brother.. Well Gabby, it hurts daddy's feelings."
"It does?"
"Yes because mommy and daddy made the baby together and God chose to send us a baby boy."
"Oh.  Daddy?"
"Yes?"
"How did you and mommy make the baby?"
"... Gabby... I think we're moving into a weird area.  The point is, is that your little brother already loves you so so much and he wants his big sister to be excited that he's a boy.  And guess what!"
"What?"
"You just get to stay daddy's only little Princess." He smiles.
"Yeah." She says with a small smile.
"You better now?"
"Mhm." She nods and sits up.
"Good.  Now give daddy a hug."
She hugs him and he holds her tight.
"Oh, I love you, baby girl!"
"I love you too, daddy!"
He kisses her cheek then she kisses his.
She walks over to the other room where Jessica and the rest are and says, "I sorry mommy.  I sorry baby." In her cute little voice as she climbs up on the couch and hugs Jessica's belly.
"Aw.."
"I sorry I said that... I love you and I love the baby too..." She looks up at her with her big beautiful eyes as she still lays her head on her belly.
"Awe, baby it's okay!" She runs her hand on her hair.
"I love you too!" She says as the baby starts to kick.
Gabriella gasps and Jessica smiles, "You see?!  The baby loves you too!  That's his way of telling you!"
"Was that the baby moving, momma?!" She smiles big and her eyes light up.
"Yes it was!  He was saying, Hi sissy, I love you!"
"I love you too, baby brother." She kisses her stomach.
