Two fools in love

Zaya!

November 29th.
Danny was at a meeting about an hour away and George was at work, so Jessica was at home alone with the babies.

"Mommy I go to dance class today?"
"No baby, tomorrow."
"No now!" She points her finger and puckers her lips.
Jessica laughs and says, "Well I'm sorry baby but no! We'll go tomorrow morning, okay?"
"Okay!" She sighs and crosses her arms.
"You little diva!" She chuckles and taps her arm.

"Gabby come over here with brother." She says laying him down on his play mat.
"We gonna play?"
"Isaiah has to do tummy time so we're gonna help him sit up and roll over!" She says in a cute voice.

"Look at him, he's such a strong boy!" Jessica says as Isaiah tries to push himself up.
"Good Zaya!" Gabriella gently caresses his little head.
She couldn't quite say Isaiah yet so she just called him by his nickname.
"Awe you're so sweet to your brother, Gabby!"

Isaiah lays down so his face is in the mat.
"Aw did you get tired, baby bear?!" Jessica giggles.
"Let's see if he'll roll over. Come on this side baby." She says as her and Gabriella move to the other side.
"Zaya! Roll over to mommy, baby boy!"
Isaiah starts to try and push himself over, "Good boy! Keep going!"
"Roll over, Zaya!" Gabriella says in a high pitched voice.
Jessica laughs at her cuteness then hurries up and grabs her phone to record them.
"I'm gonna send this to daddy, say hi!"
"Hi daddy!" Gabriella waves.
"Look Gabby, I think he's gonna do it! Danny look at our baby boy!"
"Go Isaiah go! Go Isaiah go!" They both cheer together as Isaiah rolls over.
"Yay! Awe, my baby boy! You're getting so big and strong!" She pats and rubs his stomach.
"He did it Danny! Gabby, say bye bye to daddy!"
"Bye bye, dada!" She waves and blows a kiss.

She sends it to him then picks the baby up.
"Muah!" She gives him a big kiss on the cheek, "Very good, my little chunker!" She says as she pats his fat baby butt.

Danny's Pov.

Awe Jessie sent me a video!
He chuckles to himself and waves to the phone as Gabriella says, "Hi daddy!"
Hi Princess! He smiles.
Oh my gosh, he's gonna do it! Isaiah's gonna roll over!
He brings his hand to his mouth then makes a fist in the air as he says in a deep voice,
Yes! That's my boy!

Danny gets home to find Jessica past out on the couch, Gabriella asleep on the other end with her feet towards Jessica and Isaiah asleep on her chest.

He lets out a tired chuckle and grabs a blanket to cover Gabriella.
He kissed her forehead then did the same to Jessica and the baby.

He walked into the kitchen and found a note on the table.

Danny I'm writing you this note because you'll probably get home right in the middle of nap time.
SO DON'T WAKE ME UP!
Anyway, there's food on the stove for you and cookies that Gabriella helped me make.
I love you more than anything in this world and I'll see you when I wake up.

Danny smiled to himself kissed the note then put it in his pocket.

After he ate he walked back to the couch and Jessica was barely waking up.
"Hmm.. Looks like you followed my instructions.. Good boy!" She smiles with her sleepy eyes that were half closed.
"I did! Thank you for the food, it was delicious." He whispers so they don't wake the kids.
"You're welcome. I'm glad you liked it."
"I loved it! I saw that our little boy rolled over today! That's big!"
"I know! I can't believe it! I'm just happy I got my phone out so you could see it."
"Me too. Thank you for that, by the way."
"No problem. So how did your meeting go?"
"About that.."
"What?!"
"Well.. I have to fly to Chicago for two weeks."
"What? Why?! I thought the movie was only being filmed in New Orleans."
"I thought so too, but I apparently have some scenes that involve Chicago."
"Awe babe!" She says with a sad expression on her face.
"I know.. Will you come with me?"
"Danny I can't!"
"But the last time we were apart you said you never wanted to do it again, and that you'd go with me."
"I know but Danny, we have two kids and it's not that easy to just up and take them to Chicago!"
"Yeah.. I understand."
"When do you need to be there?"
"I leave January, 3rd."
"What?! Danny, but our anniversary is on the 8th!"
"I know! That's why I really wish you'd come!" He says with sad eyes.
"Well I don't know Danny! I'll have to see. Damn! They can't move it?"
"Baby how am I supposed to ask them to move two weeks of shooting just for me?"
"Yeah okay! But man that sucks!"
"I know it does, but we'll figure it out and it'll all work fine, okay?"
"Okay." She whispers and gives him a small smile as he gently grabs the back of her head and kisses her forehead.
