***4 weeks later, 34 weeks pregnant***
"Come on babydoll, get up we have our midwife appointment this morning." Danny says trying to wake Jessica up.
"No I don't wanna get up!" She says acting like a kid.
"Well baby, you have to... I'll tell you what, when we get out I'll take you out to eat wherever your little heart desires." Danny says bribing her.
"Are you trying to bribe me, Mr. Huston?"
He smiles, "Is it working?" He asks.
"Hell yeah!" She says laughing.
He helps her out of bed she gets ready.

Later on in the car.
"We're gonna see our baby's face today! And she'll look like a baby not an alien baby!" Jessica says very excited.
"I know we'll be able to see how she'll look when she's born, and if she looks like me or you... Oh God I hope she looks like you!" Danny says as he rubs her thigh.
"No I hope she looks like you... I just pray to God that she does not have your ginormous head!" Jessica says holding her belly, squeezing her legs together and making a painful face.
"Yeah I'm sorry babydoll, I hope so to!" He rubs her belly.

They arrive at their midwife appointment.
"Hello you guys, come on in!" Sunshine greets them and they head to the back.

"Alright Jessica, if you can take off your yoga pants and put this sheet over yourself, then lift your shirt up so we can see baby."
Jessica does what she's told, she lifts her shirt and Sunshine says,
"Well hello baby! Haha so cute!" She taps Jessica's belly.

"Okay, this is gonna be a little uncomfortable, but I need to see what position the baby is." Sunshine says.
"Okay, that's fine!" Jessica says.
Sunshine presses hard all around her belly.
Jessica makes a face looking like she's uncomfortable, Danny rubs the top of her head and smiles at her to take her mind off of what Sunshine is doing.
"Alright she is in the perfect position to come out... Let's just hope she stays that way!
Go ahead and spread you legs and I'll see if you've dilated any."
"Already?" Jessica asks surprised.
"Yes it's possible, if you're not its not a big deal, some woman don't dilate until they're in labor."
"Oh well good to know, thanks." Jessica says.
"Alright it looks like you're dilated about 1 centimeter and 0% effaced, which is a great start for you being 34 weeks."

Jessica puts her pants back on.
"Alright question time, have you had any of the following?"
"Contractions?" "Yes."
"Swelling?" "Yes."
"Gas?" She looks at Danny with lightly puckered lips and fierce eyes. He nods his head up and down and she turns to Sunshine and says, "Yes." In and irritated tone.
"Haha Jess it's perfectly normal." She says to her.
"I know I just don't like it, and I don't like to admit that I do anything like that!"
Danny puts his arm around her and rubs her shoulder, "Jess you're pregnant."
"Oh shit, really? I didn't know that!" She says in an angry voice as her hormones take over. She looks down them brings her eyes to his and says, "Sorry." Still sounding a bit irritated but calming down.
"Alright I know what will make you happy, let's see your baby!" Sunshine says trying to lighten the mood.
Jessica's mood does a complete 180 and she says, "Yay! Let's see our girl!" While grabbing Danny's hand.
Danny looks at Sunshine and mouths "Thank you!".
She puts the gel on her stomach and starts the scan.
"Alright... Here's your baby!" She says revealing her face.
"Oh my gosh, Danny!" She says as tears fall down her face and she squeezes Danny's hand tighter.
"She looks just like you Jess!" He says as a tear falls.
"She does! I can't believe this! She looks so real... Like a real baby!" She says as Gabriella sticks her lips out exactly how Jessica does.
They both crack up and Jessica says, "That's my girl!"
"She is so you Jessica! I can tell already... I'm in trouble!" He says making her laugh.

After a while of just starring at her they discuss their birth plan.
"Alright Jessica, so you will more than likely keep having contractions until you go into labor, the way you can tell the difference between Braxton hicks and real labor contractions is that they will obviously become more intense and closer together, you will be full term in 3 weeks and can go into labor pretty much at anytime after that, and the baby will be just fine.
Call me when the contractions are 5 minutes apart or when your water breaks and I will be right over.
The plan is a water birth, correct?"
"Yes." Jessica says sitting there with her hand resting on her belly.
"Okay great, I'll send everything you need including the birthing pool, usually moms find giving birth in water more relaxing but if you find a place or different position you feel more comfortable in then go ahead and do whatever you feel is best.
Most of the time if it's your first baby the labor will be longer, but every pregnancy is different and you could go so fast that we won't have time to fill the pool up, some women even give birth on the toilet!"
Danny laughs and says, "You could pull an Anna Duggar and just have her on the pot!"
"Haha, NEVER!" Jessica says nodding her head "no".
Sunshine laughs and asks if they have any questions.
"No I don't think so, Danny?" Jessica asks him.
"Yeah, when she's giving birth where will I go? I know I'm coaching her but will I be in the water too?"
Jessica laughs at his cuteness.
"You can be wherever she wants you to be. It's probably best if you're in the water while she pushes, so she has something to grab onto!" Sunshine giggles.
"Ha! Okay thanks!"

After they finish with their appointment Danny takes her out to lunch at her favorite restaurant then surprises her by taking her to the donut shop she loved.
"Awwwwww, thank you Danny! You spoil me so much Mr. Huston!"
"Well you're my princess, why wouldn't I treat you like one?"
"I love you Danny!" She says hugging him and resting her head on his chest.
"I love you too babydoll!" He holds her tight and kisses the top of her head, taking in her sweet scent.
