Two fools in love

I think I'm pregnant...

When they get home Jessica cooks dinner.
As she cooks she gets a sick feeling in her stomach.
She puts the knife down on the counter and puts her hands on the counter.
She puts her head down and takes deep breaths.

She walks the living room and tells Danny, "Danny I don't feel so good, do you think you could finish dinner?  I'm gonna go lay down."
"Sure baby.  You okay?"
"I'm fine.  Just eat, I don't want anything."

Danny stands up and feels her forehead, "You don't feel warm."
"Yeah, I don't know what it is.. I'm just gonna rest a little while."
"Alright.  Well I'm sorry.. I hope you feel better baby."
"Thank you." She gives him a small smile as he kisses her cheek.

When she goes upstairs she lays down for a while before she has to run to the bathroom.

"Dammit!" She moans as she throws up.

Danny goes upstairs for something and walks in as she's throwing up, "Oh my gosh, baby are you okay?"
"Huh?  Oh yeah I'm fine."
"No you're not!" He gets down, rubs her back and holds her hair.
"You need to go to the doctor."
"Yeah.." She says as she flushes the toilet and stands up.

Danny stands behind her as she brushes her teeth and when she's finished she looks at him in the mirror and says, "Danny I need to tell you something.."
"What's wrong?"
She walks to the bedroom and sighs.
"Baby what's wrong?  Are you okay?"
"I-I don't know."
"What?" He grabs her arms and looks into her eyes.
She looks down and takes a deep breath the slowly looks up at him and says, "I think I'm pregnant."
"What?!" He lets go of her and steps back.
"I took a test."
"You took a test?" His eyes practically pop out of his head.
"Yeah, I took two."
"And?"
"One came out negative and one came out positive."
"So then what the fuck does that mean?!"
"I don't know Danny!" She yells.
"Well you can't be pregnant you're on the pill!"
Jessica stays silent and looks down.
"Jessica!  You are on the pill, right?!"
"Well..."
"Jessica!"
"Well I was Danny, but I forgot!"
"You forgot?!  How the fuck did you forget?"
"Danny stop yelling at me!"
"I'm sorry Jessica but I'm in shock right now!  What are we gonna do if you're pregnant?  We can't have another baby right now!"
Jessica's eyes fill with tears and Danny grabs her arm and says, "Baby don't."
She yanks her arm away and says, "Don't touch me!" She storms out of the room and goes downstairs.

She picks Gabriella up to take her to bed and Danny says, "Jessica wait!"
"Leave me alone, Danny." She walks past him.

She puts Gabriella in bed and she asks, "Why are you and daddy yelling?"
"Because he made mommy mad."
"Why?" She lifts her hands.
"Because he's an ass, baby."
"Ass?"
"No Gabby don't!  Don't repeat that!" She covers Gabriella's mouth.
"Mommy said a naughty word that we don't use!  I'm sorry, that was bad!" She hits her arm to show her that it's bad making her laugh.

She puts Isaiah in his crib then goes back to Danny.
"Danny I'm not happy about this.. Believe me, I'm not!  But to hear you say the things I feel makes me mad."
"Well how do you expect me to act?"
"I don't know, but I just want you to make me feel better like you always do!" She cries.
Danny tries to hug her and say he's sorry but Jessica walks away from him.
"Jess come on."
"Just leave me alone." She says as she locks herself in the bathroom.

"Jessica!" He knocks on the door and she turns the water on.

While she showers Danny thinks about how he reacted and how it must have made her feel.

When she comes out she gives him the silent treatment, lays down and turns away from him.
"Jessica." He says as he puts his hand on her shoulder.
"You don't have to talk to me, but I'm gonna talk to you.  I'm sorry for how I reacted.  I was just in shock over the whole thing.  If you are pregnant, it won't be a bad thing.. We want to have more kids anyway, right?" He asks but Jessica stays silent.
"It's soon after Isaiah but we can do it.  Jessica I'm sorry."
"It's fine Danny.  Just let me go to bed, I have a gynecologist appointment at 8 o'clock tomorrow."
"Alright.  Get some rest Babydoll." He kisses her shoulder and lays down.

The next morning Jessica wakes up and gets ready to go.
She leaves Gabriella asleep and gets Isaiah ready.
She lightly shakes Danny and whispers, "I'm going to the doctors, I'll be back."
"Huh?!  Jessica, I was gonna go with you!" He jumps up.
"No, you're tired.  You've had a long couple weeks and need to sleep.  I'm taking Isaiah and Gabriella's still asleep."
"Jessica I don't want you going alone."
"I'll be fine Danny."
He sits up and says, "Baby, I want you to know.. That no matter what happens, it's okay.  I'm here for you.. Always." He looks deep into her eyes and holds her hands.
She gives him a tiny smile and says, "I know."
"... Besides.. If you are pregnant, you can say you got pregnant in 2013 and 2014, and gave birth in 2015 then got pregnant and and gave birth again in 2016!" He laughs.
"That's nice funny, Daniel." She says with a straight face.
"I'm sorry." He smiles.
She rolls her eyes and smiles, "I gotta go."
"Okay.. Be careful." He hugs her then kisses her cheek.

"Ms. Lange." The nurse calls her.

Jessica takes a deep breath and walks to the back with Isaiah.

"So Ms. Lange, what brings you in today?" The doctor asks after she anxiously awaited in a cold doctors office.
"Well I think I'm pregnant.  I took two at home pregnancy tests and one came back positive and one negative.  I'm late, I've been throwing up and I forgot to take my birth control pill."
"Alright, go ahead and put your legs in the stirrups and we'll find out."

As the doctor checks her cervix Isaiah starts crying.
"Oh God, I'm sorry.  Shh baby, you're okay." Jessica tries calming him down.
She picks him up and holds him as the doctor checks her.

Oh my God.  I can't be pregnant when my baby's still so small.  How am I supposed to run after the two I already have while being pregnant.  Isaiah won't even be walking for a while.  How in the world will I take care of three kids under the age of three?

"Ms. Lange." The doctor says breaking her thoughts.
"Yes?" She looks down and waits anxiously to hear what he has to say."
