The next day the doctor comes in to check her.

"Hello Ms. Lange, how are you feeling?"
"A lot better, just sore."
"Well that's understandable, that truck hit you pretty hard.  I'm gonna need you to take off your gown so I can see if there is any bruising."

Jessica takes off her gown and the doctor feels around her.
He presses on the side of her stomach and she flinches, "Ow!"
"You have a bruise on the side of your stomach, your hip, thigh and arm, but luckily that's all they are.  Nothing's infected, so if you're still not dilated any then you can go home."
"Great!" She smiles.

The doctor checks her then says, "Everything looks good.  You can go home, just rest and take it easy for the next couple of days, okay?"
"Alright." She smiles.
"Any questions?"

"Alright, well feel free to call if you have any problems."
"Thank you, doctor." Danny says to him before he walks out.

"Alright, let's get the hell out of here!" She gets up from the bed.

Gabriella nods her head no.
"Well good!" She tells her then rubs her arm and says, "Awe look at her little bruised up arm, Danny!" With a bit of a whine.
She gives her bruise a soft, gentle kiss and says, "My poor baby!"
"I'm just glad that's all you two girls left with.. My babies could've been really hurt." He wraps his arm around her and kisses her head as she lays on his chest.

"How are you feeling today, Jess?" Evan asks.
"Sore but considering what happened, I feel great."
"Thank god! You scared the hell out of me!"
"You sure did, I saw the whole thing happen and I was freaking the fuck out!" Sarah says.
"Aww.. Well thank you two so much, for everything." She goes to hug them.

Jessica goes upstairs to freshen up, changes into her comfortable pajama pants and a cami that she had pre pregnancy.
She walks down the stairs with her belly sticking out of the bottom and sits back on the couch.
"I'm making lunch baby, what would you like?"
"Could you make me some of your chicken parmesan? Please?" She gives him a cute innocent smile.
"Of course babydoll, anything you'd like." He kisses her forehead.
"Can you two stay for lunch?" He asks Sarah and Evan.
"Well if you're making chicken parmesan then HELL YES!" Sarah answers.
"Alright!" He laughs.

Jessica sits back, sighs and makes a painful face.
"You okay?" Evan asks.
"Yeah I'm fine, it's just I have a bruise on the side of my stomach over by my ribs, so when the baby moves it hurts like hell." She pouts.
"Awe man, that sucks!" Sarah says.
"Yeah a little.. But I'll be fine, I'm just glad he's alright." She looks at her belly.
"I know, thank god!"

"Mommy up!" Gabriella reaches her arms up after failing to get herself onto the couch.
Jessica grabs her arms and pulls her up.
"Thanks!" Gabby sits beside her and smiles.
They laugh and Jessica says, "Well you're welcome!"
Gabriella rubs her hand on her stomach and Jessica says, "Remember not to hit your brother if he kicks, okay?"
"Okay!" She answers.
The baby starts to roll around and Gabriella just smiles.
Jessica's eyes widen and she smiles at Gabby.
"Awe you're such a sweet girl!" She rubs her back.

"Lola! Come here, my girl!" Jessica pats the couch.
Lola runs up and lays on the top of her belly, she's so small so it won't hurt the baby.
"Well hello!" She laughs.
Danny walks into the living room, smiles at her and says, "Awe.. The momma bear and her cubs!"
Jessica looks at him, giggles and crinkles her nose.

After the food is ready Danny brings it out so Jessica can sit comfortably on the couch and eat.
"This is so delicious Danny!" She says with her plate on top of her belly.
"I'm glad you like it, gorgeous." They smile at each other.

"You two are so cute! Sarah says. "And Jessica I love your built in food tray!" She laughs.
Jessica looks down then laughs, "Oh thanks!"

"You know Jess, call me crazy but sometimes I stare at you and think, Isn't it weird that Jessica has a penis inside of her right now?"
Jessica cracks up laughing and says, "What the hell, Sarah?!"

"Anyway!  So.. Still no name for this baby yet?"
"Not yet.." Jessica pouts and runs her hand on the side of her stomach.
"Well since Gabby's middle name is kinda like my name, I thought maybe we could do something like that for this little guy's middle name with Jessica."
"Awe babe, you haven't told me that." She gives him a cute smile and very lightly taps her foot on his leg.
"I've been meaning too." He smirks.
"So his middle name could be Jesse?  That's cute!" Evan says.
Jessica puts her hands on her chest and says, "Oh my gosh, that is cute!  My little Jesse!" She giggles.
"Now we just need a first name!" Jessica says with a laugh.
"It'll come to us, babydoll." Danny smiles at her and rubs her leg.
