Two fools in love

Happy Birthday Isaiah!

The next morning Jessica was downstairs making Isaiah's personal sized birthday cake.
They had started this little tradition on Gabriella's first birthday, where Jessica makes the kids their very own cake to get messy with on their birthday.
She also made her, Danny and Gabriella some cupcakes so that Gabby wouldn't be upset that she didn't have any cake.

Danny walks downstairs and sees Jessica baking with her cute little apron on and her hair messily clipped up.
She sticks her finger in her mouth and sucks the icing off.
"Morning, gorgeous." Danny smiles then grabs her waist from behind and kisses her cheek.

"Morning handsome.  Did you sleep well?"
"I slept very well!"
"Good, hows our little guest doing?" She giggles.
"Hah, she's still asleep.  Smells good in here."
"Thanks.  Taste.." She sticks her finger in the icing bowl then turns around and sticks her finger in Danny's mouth.
He makes a, "Mmm." Sound as he sucks her finger.
"Delicious!" He smiles.
She smiles and crinkles her nose as Danny puts a stray hair behind her ear and gives her a soft kiss.

"Mommy, Daddy I'm up!"" Gabriella yells from the top of the stairs.
"Good morning, Princess!  Stay there, we're coming up." Jessica tells her.

As they walk up the stairs, Jessica says, "A year ago today I was starting to push in the middle of nowhere!" She laughs.
"I was so proud of you.  You did so amazing."
"I did, didn't I?" She stops and smiles at him.
He laughs and says, "You sure did!"
"I'm just kidding.  Thank you, Danny." She hugs him and he kisses her.

When they get upstairs, Jessica says, "Gabby today is Zaya's first birthday!"
"Yay!" Gabriella claps her hands.
"Yeah!  So we're gonna go tell him happy birthday, okay?!"
Danny picks her up as they walk into Isaiah's room.

Isaiah's standing up in his crib and hanging onto the bar.
"Hi baby boy!  Happy Birthday!" She smiles as he bounces up and down.
"You're once year old!  Well you have about 15 minutes but close enough!" She giggles and picks him up then gives him a big kiss.
"Oh my baby boy!  You're getting so big!" She tears up."Happy Birthday, Zaya!" Gabriella reaches over to kiss him.
"Oh you're such a sweet girl!" Jessica says as she moves Isaiah closer to her and Gabriella grabs his face as she kisses him.

"Happy Birthday, Isaiah!" Danny kisses his cheek then messes with his hair.
"Say thank you, Dada!" Jessica says in a cute voice with a smile.
Isaiah mumbles in baby talk then says in the cutest and clearest voice, "Dada!"
"Did you just.. Did he just.. He just.. He just said dada!  He just said dada!" Danny freaks out.
"Oh my gosh, he did!" Jessica smiles.
"Oh my boy!" Danny takes Isaiah from her and Jessica grabs Gabriella from him.
"Dada!" Isaiah giggles.
"That's right I am your dada!  Good boy!" He hugs him.
Isaiah kept saying his name then laughing at Danny's reaction.
"I just love this!  Thank you, Isaiah!" He kisses him as Jessica watches them with tears in her eyes.

They go downstairs and sit him in his highchair before they sing Happy Birthday and give him his cake.
He diggs in with his little hands and stuffs his mouth.
"Do you like it, baby?" Jessica smiles.
"Yum!" Isaiah says with cake and icing all over his face.
"I think he does!" Danny smiles.
"Well good!" She smiles.
"Oh look at the time!  It's 9;15!  Isaiah, you are now officially one year old!" She kisses him.
"A whole year old!  You're a big man now, Isaiah!" Danny smiles.

They all eat their cupcakes and Gabriella says, "This is a good bweakfast, mommy!" With a mouth full of cake.
"Haha!  Thanks, Gabby." She smiles.

"You have icing on your lips." Danny tells Jessica.
"Oh man!" She grabs her napkin but he says, "No.. I got it." He leans in and sucks on her lip, then licks his lips and smirks, "Yum." He says in his deep, sexy voice.
She giggles a good looks down.
