Dance Mom

Two weeks later...

Gabriella has had it with her cast and so have Danny and Jessica.

"Mommy it itches!  It itches!" She hits her arm.
"I know baby.  You have a doctors appointment after dance class today, so pray that you can get it off!"
"I hope so!"
"Yeah, now let's put your dance clothes on.

Jessica takes Gabriella to class while Danny stayed home with Isaiah.

Gabriella's dance teacher came out and said, "Parent's, recital is in two weeks and I need a recital mom that can sit in the back with them during the show."
"I'll do it!" Jessica immediately raises her hand.
"Great!  Thank you so much, Mrs. Huston.  Now, there will be a dress rehearsal this weekend as well as pictures.  Their hair needs to be down and curly and they need very light makeup.  Absolutely NO BLUE EYESHADOW!  Lipgloss, mascara, blush and a light brown eyeshadow will do.  I'll give Mrs. Huston all of the information since she'll be with your kids the whole show."
"The whole show?" Jessica asks.
"Yes.  Is that okay?"
"Yeah no, that's fine!" She says with a nervous giggle.

After class, Jessica took her for her follow up appointment.

Gabriella plays with a little boy that was probably a year older than her.
Jessica sits behind her as the play with the legos.
She smiles then takes her picture and sends it to Danny.

***She's sharing her legos with him, Danny..***

***Tell her she's grounded!***

***Haha!  She likes older men!***

"Gabriella." The nurse calls her.
"let's go Gabby." Jessica pats her back.
"I wanna play!"
"No it's time to go.  say bye to your friend."
"Bye bye, Jake." She waves.
"Mommy that's his name!" She pulls on Jessica's arm.
"Bye Gabriella!" He smiles and waves back.
"Hah!  Bye Jake." Jessica chuckles as she grabs Gabriella's hand and walks to the back.
"Look at you flirting at the pediatricians!" Jessica laughs and playfully shakes her arm as they walks down the hall.
"Mommy!" She laughs.
"I think Gabby has a boyfriend!" She says as she sings it.
"I do not!  You do!"
"He's a bit young for me, don't you think?"
"Mommy stop." Gabriella grabs her head and nods it as she sighs.
"You are such a little mess!" Jessica laughs and gently squeezes her hand.

The doctor tells her that her cast can come off, which made her extremely excited.
"Yay!  Mommy it's coming off!" She smiles.
"I know!  I'm so happy for you, baby!" Jessica smiles.

When Gabriella leaves the doctors office, she's wearing her wrist brace that she'll have to wear for the next two weeks, but not 24/7.

When they get home Jessica carries her in then puts her down when she says, "Gabriella Danielle Huston is now cast free!"
"Woohoo!  That's great new, Gabby!" Danny picks her up high, making her laugh.
"Just in time for her dance pictures this weekend!" Jessica smiles.
"She has picture this weekend?!" Danny smiles.
"Yeah and guess what!"
"What?"
"I'm the recital mom!  I'm a recital mom, babe!" She smiles.
"Awe!  I'm so happy for you!  This is what we talked about when you were pregnant with her!  I know you're excited!"
"I am!  But I'm also nervous."
"Why?"
"Well because I'm in charge of all of the pre-dancer's so that means I'll be with like eight two year olds all by myself!" 
"Aw, well I'm sure you'll do great!  Besides, ours is probably the wildest one you'll have to deal with!" He chuckles.
"Yeah, you're right!  Well, it'll be fine.  I'm so excited for her!" She smiles.
"So am I.. I'm excited for you too, babe.  Remember how she used to stretch out so you could see her pointed toes and her long legs while you were pregnant with her.. and you said that you thought you had a little dancer growing inside of you?  and how you couldn't wait to be a dance mom?"
"I do." She smiles.
"Well you're finally a dance mom!   And here's our beautiful little little dancer." He smiles at Gabriella as he holds her.
"Yep... Here she is." She smiles and rubs her back.
"Here I am!" Gabriella giggles and lifts her arms in the air, making them laugh.

That weekend Jessica gets Gabriella ready.
"Mommy, I wear makeup?" Gabriella smiles.
"Yeah!  Are you excited?"
"Yeah!  I gonna wear my dress and take pictures!"
"Yeah, and you're gonna wear your tap shoes and do your dance!" She smiles as she gets her makeup out.
"Yay!  Mommy, make me beautiful!" She smiles and touches her face.
"Baby, you were beautiful the moment you came out of the womb." She smiles and cups her chin.

Isaiah runs in along side Danny.
"Look at him running!" Jessica smiles as they enter their bedroom.
"I know, he's running all over the house now!" Danny chuckles.
"Oh Gabriella!  You look beautiful!  Like a Babydoll.." He says as Jessica smiles.
"Thank you, Daddy!"
"Jess, she looks just like you.  I'm a lucky man to have two such beautiful Babydoll's."
"Aw Danny." She reaches up to touch his arm as she's sitting on the chair doing her makeup.
"Liploss mommy, liploss!" Gabriella puckers her lips.
"Alright, mommy will give you your liploss!" She giggles as she imitates her.

"Alright Daddy and Isaiah, you two go downstairs so that we can surprise you!" Jessica tells him.
"Alright let's get out of here, Isaiah." Danny picks him up.
"Noo!  Mommy!" He points to Jessica.
"Oh stop it!" Danny chuckles and walks out.
"Awe!  Mommy will be right there, baby!" She yells out.

"Alright, you ready to put your costume on?"
"Yeah!" Gabriella jumps up and claps her hands.

Once she puts her costume on, Jessica walks down the stairs while holding her hand and says, "Now presenting our little miss sass, Gabriella!" She smiles.
"Oh Gabby!  Look at you, baby!  You look so pretty!" Danny smiles.
"I know!" She smiles as she twirls around.
"Haha!  Say thank you, you booty!" Jessica laughs.
"Thank you, you booty!" Gabriella tells Danny.
"Oh geez!" Jessica laughs, rolls her eyes and nods her head.
