Two fools in love

I won't dance, don't ask me!

The next day the dance studio calls Jessica's cell phone.

"Hello?" She answers.

"Hello Mrs. Huston, this is Stephanie. We just wanted to call to let you and your husband know that we will be having a mom's and dad's dance. The first rehearsal is tonight and we would love for you two to be in it."

"Oh my goodness! *Giggles* well I would love for my husband to do it, I don't know about myself though."

"Well we would love to have either one. Rehearsal is at 6:30 tonight."

"Alright thank you."

"No problem!  Hopefully we will see you two, tonight!"

She hangs up and yells, "Danny!"
"What?"
"You need to be in the dad's dance at Gabriella's recital!"
"The dad's dance? Hah! Well I think I could break out the old dance shoes." He smiles.
"Yeah! I knew you'd do it!"
"Of course I'll do it! But just one little thing.."
"And what is that?" She smiles and touches his chest as he wraps his hands around her back.
"You have to do the mom's dance."
"What?!  How do you know about that?!"
"They shared it on the studio's Facebook page. You're doing this dance with me." He smiles.
"But Danny I don't want to."
"Well fine, but you tell her that.  I already told her you would do it." He points to Gabriella who is walking in saying, "My mommy and daddy are gonna dance on the big stage!"
"Dammit Danny!  Why would you do that?!" She hits his chest.
"I thought you'd think it would be fun to dance together!" He tells her then adds, "Gabriella come here, baby.." Danny calls her.
"Danny what are you doing?" Jessica asks him.
"I'm telling her the truth! Gabby... Your mommy lied."
"Don't tell her that!" She hits him.
"What?!"
"I didn't lie because I never said I would do it!"
"Do what?"
"Danny stop!  I won't dance, don't ask me!"
"Very Grey Gardens, baby!" He laughs and she rolls her eye at him.
"You see Gabby." He looks at her.
"Danny!" She sighs and rolls her eyes.
"Mommy I want you to dance like me on the stage."
"Gabby, mommy has stage fright."
"Oh please!" Danny says.
"You're an actress!"
"Danny I can't dance!"
"Yes you can!"
"But I'm scared!"
"Why?!"
"Because when you're on stage it's like you're on a plate in the middle of the table for everyone to see!"
"Yeah, so?!"
"Daniel." She rolls her eyes at him.
"Mommy please?"
"Gabby... No."
"But mommy!"
"Baby I'm sorry."
"Come on mommy, please?!" Danny begs.
"You stop!" She points her finger at him.
"But look at these little faces!" He says as he and Gabriella pout.
"Danny!"
"Well then look at her face!"
Jessica looks at Gabriella's sad little pitiful face and her heart melts.
"Oh... Oh alright! I'll do it!" She says upset.
"Yay!" Gabriella and Danny get excited.
"Just for that, I'll make you whatever you want!" Danny smiles.
"I don't want anything."
"You're not hungry? That's a first!" He chuckles.
"Well I'm nervous and I can't eat!"
"Baby! You're fine!" He laughs.
"I'm not." She looks at him like a sad little girl.
"You're so cute *Chuckles* You'll be fine. I know you will." He stands up and gets behind her.
He wraps his arms her stomach and kisses her cheek.
She puts her hand on his cheek then taps it.
"We're gonna have so much fun!"
"Oh stop it!" She lays her head back and sighs.

That night they left the kids with Sarah and Evan while they went to rehearsal.

"It's gonna be weird being at the studio without the kids." She chuckles.
"I know! I'm so excited, aren't you excited?!" He reaches over while at the light and tickles her stomach.
"No!" She laughs and squirms from him tickling her.
"Stop it!" She giggles and pushes his hand away.

When they get there, Jessica goes to the back corner but Danny goes front and center.
"Danny! Get back here!" She whispers loud.
"No I wanna be the star!"
She rolls her eyes and yells, "Daniel Huston!"
"What?!" He lifts his hand as the choreographer walks in and says, "Hello everyone, I am so excited to start on this dance. Now I need for everyone to get with their partner."
Danny turns to Jessica and reaches her hand out for her to grab.
"No!" Her eyes widen.
"Jessica go join your husband in the front!" One of her friends says.
"No I really rather not." She says with a nervous giggle.
"Oh come on, you have too!" Another mom says.
Jessica felt like she had to since everyone was staring at her, so she slowly walked over to Danny.
