"This Saturday?"

"No, the one in May 2023."

She looks up with a frown and I roll my eyes, "Yes, this Saturday, Ella."

"You're going with your boy gang?" She asks.

"Are you going to repeat whatever I said now?"

Ella purses her red lips and shoots me a sarcastic smile. "Forgive me if I'm having a little trouble sinking in that you cancelled our day to go with the four boys you share every second of your life with?"

"I share a lot of seconds of my life with you, too!" I feign shock.

"Siri." She berates.

I despise that word. It's like calling James - Jamie. Or calling Peter - Petie. Or Elena - Elenie? No, it would be Ellie but you get the gist of it.

Elena.

Oh, it would do me no good to think of her. Sometimes, when she walks into the Great Hall in her messily done uniform because she is so not a morning person, I would be on the verge of pouring my orange juice right back out.

It's been a month and I feel more drawn to her than I have ever felt to her sister. I wouldn't compare them but Elena just has that magnet factor about herself. She's the opposite pole.

And I notice her, and Merlin do I. She hates when someone wears those pointed heels in the halls and they just clink clink clink around. She loves it when someone asks for help when they need it. She detests when someone wears low-waisted jeans because it looks like they would fall right off and she doesn't want to be there for it. She likes it when men have tousled hair naturally and one isn't trying too desperately to make them look so. She despises when someone forces her to click a picture or make a pose she doesn't want to. She hates, hates, hates pouty faces. She also has a strong dislike for heart pendants for no other reason than they make her feel single —

"Sirius, are you listening?"

I look up and raise my eyebrows. "Hm?"

"I asked if you wanted me to tag along."

"With us marauders?"

"Yeah," She shrugs. "I figured if you didn't want to go with me Saturday alone - as in a potential date, I'd just come with you four."
