Chapter 11
*Meredith POV*

I wake up today knowing that it's going to be hard. Christina is leaving again. We can make it work though.

I walk into the living room and she's there with Zola and Bailey saying goodbye. "Aunt Christina, when will you come home again?" Zola asks. She's so precious when she says that.

"Well, I don't know. My hospital is very busy. But I promise I'll come home again." Christina says.

I say goodbye to my children as well before I head off to work.

"I'm going to miss this." She says.

"I know you will. What time is your flight?" I ask.

"2 PM" she says.

"Only a few more hours then, huh?" I say.

"Yeah." She responds.

We begin to just walk around the hospital because no ones dying, no ones crashing, no one needs surgery right now.

So we're gonna spend these next few hours hanging out. We talk about everything basically. We just sit on a gurney in give tunnels when Amelia and Maggie show up. "Hey guys!" Maggie says enthusiastically.

We all sit there. We talk and talk until we just stop. Then all of a sudden Amelia starts laughing her head off. We all look at her and just begin to laugh too.

Alex finds us there laughing, "What's so funny?" He asks.

"Nothing. We're just..well, laughing." I say. Which makes us laugh even more.

"Mer, I gotta go now." Christina says. Our spontaneous laughter ceases.

"Time to dance it out?" I ask.

"Time to dance it out." She says.

We play the music super loud. Christina and I just begin dancing. Maggie and Amelia look at each other thinking that we're crazy.

"Well, are y'all just going to sit there or are you doing to dance it out with us?" Christina says.

"What does that even mean?" Amelia says laughing.

Christina and I look at each other. We both grab Maggie and Amelia. And the four of us just dance until Christina has to leave for real.

"Well Dr. Yang, I mean Christina, it's been great getting to know you better." Maggie says.

"It's been fun having you around here Yang," Amelia says.

"It's been a great time here, I'm going to miss the both of you." Christina says.

She hugs the both of them. She and I walk off, heading towards the parking lot. We don't get too far before Christina says, "Do I have to leave?"

"Christina, Seattle will always be home. Nothing can ever change that. This is where you and I met. This is where you found your family. This is where you became Christina Yang. This is the place where you discovered yourself. This place will always be your home. But just because somewhere is home, doesn't mean any other place can't be. Zurich is where you own a hospital. Zurich is where you're printing hearts. Zurich is your second home. If you stayed here, you won't be doing what you worked your entire career here for." I tell her.

"I guess you're right. Meredith Grey, I swear to God if you do anything stupid and get yourself killed, I will bring you back just to kill you. Don't forget what I told you the last time I left: 'He is very dreamy, but he is not the sun. You are.'
We're going to call and text all the time. Send me pictures of the kids. When that little one gets here tell me. Okay?" She says.

"Okay." I say.

We hug and remind each other that we love one another. When we break away, she's tearing up but I beat her too that. I'm pretty sure fetus knew she was leaving too because it started kicked and we both laughed.

"See you later, Christina." I tell her as she walks way.

"See you later, Meredith." She says as she turns around.

Christina leaves for Zurich.
