"That's what Malin says," Kro's voice says softly as he looks at Shadow.
Shadow absently shakes her head and says, "He has no power over me and my army. He himself left there!"
Lily coughs quietly and Marc looks at Lily, "Lily, what an unexpected surprise."
"Unexpected?" Lily asks, raising an eyebrow and leaning back on the sofa.
"No matter what Gabriel says, I'll have the last word!" Shadow says angrily.
"That is, if you are the ruler of the Criminal Empire," Kro replies, putting his arm around Lily.
Lily looks at Kro and mutters, "But I'm not. Yet."
"Your position is as well as secured. You have nothing to worry about," answers Irina, sitting next to the girl.
Lily looks at Irina and says, "Nothing has been decided yet."
Shadow looks at Lily and says, "Except the council meets with you tomorrow at noon. They've thought all this time that we're talking about you as some kind of legend."

Lily nods quietly and asks, "Marc?"
Marc shrugs and says, "Gabriel seems to be leading the side that has decided to oppose you."
"Are there many?" Lily asked, biting her lip.
Marc shakes his head and says, "Not yet. However, we still have certain advantages over him."
