Colby's POV
—————————————————

The date is February 16th. Ever since the plane crash, we haven't messed around a whole lot with the paranormal.

Jensen and Jared were okay and so were there families. Everyone here was okay, I'm okay and being a vamp isn't that bad.

We unplugged Amara's life support the day after the crash because we knew she wouldn't wake up.

Y/n and I's 1 year is coming up next month and I decided to buy her a ring because I want to propose.

Now yes, this will be the second time we've been engaged but hey, what can I say? I love her.

As of right now, I'm with Sam and Ryker looking for rings. He and Corey were gonna help me plan the proposal since I have a pretty good idea.

"Wait come here, look at this one" I said to Sam as my eye got caught on a gorgeous, shiny, dark sapphire ring.

"Why sapphire?" He asked.

"Her birth stone is a sapphire" I said and he nodded.

"Hey, if you like it, get it. But remember, the other one looks good too" he said and I sighed.

"I don't know which one, let me send pictures to Corey" I said and he walked off with Ryker, leaving me with the choice.

Colby: Opinions?

Colby: Opinions?

Corey: Ooh see, I know sapphire is her birthstone and it's more unique... go with 1?

Colby: Alright, alright. I was thinking that one anyway but then Sam reminded me of the 2nd one.

Corey: I say 1 but it's up to you.

Colby: Okay thanks.

I decided against Sam's suggestion and got the sapphire one.

Costing me $20K, I left the jewelers with the ring.

"So when are you doing it?" He asked me.

"Our 1 year is next month so I'm thinking to do it on the day" I said.
