I think Colby seen Sam's comment as well because he put his phone to his ear immediately.
"Yo, what's up? Oh god are they alright? Sending prayers for your family, love you man" he said and quickly got off the phone.
"What?" I asked.
"Kirk and Allison were in a car accident and Kirk is in a coma with a back injury but should be okay I hope" he said.
"Oh wow, yikes. I hope he is too" I said.
"Mama" Gunnar said as he crawled over.
"Uh. You said your first word!" I exclaimed and picked him up, kissing his cheek.
"Yayy" Colby said as he clapped his hands, Gunnar mimicking.
"Can you say da da" I said. "Dada" Colby said as he pointed at himself. "Da" he said. "Da, da" I said again, "dada" he said.
"Yeahh baby!" I exclaimed again.
"Who's that?" Colby asked, pointing at me.
"Mama" Gunnar said. I noticed Colby was filming. "Who's this?" I asked and pointed at him.
"Dada" he said.
"Yeahh, whoo!" We cheered.
Maddie and Ryker had been playing with the dogs and came over to watch Gunnar talk to us.
"Mom can we watch a movie?" Ryker asked.
"Yeah but could you pick up your toys for me please?" I asked and he nodded before going an putting them back in his toy bin, sliding it back into the shelf.
"Thank you, which movie do you wanna watch?" I asked them.
"Nemo!" They both exclaimed and I laughed as Colby put it on the tv.
