Today started just as a normal day, we woke up and Alex had made us breakfast. Amara had gotten a new body and was okay now.

"Babe the appointment is in 20 minutes come on!" I called from downstairs.

We had the first appointment for the baby today and I was super nervous but still, I tried not to let it get too bad.

"Momma are you gonna see baby?" Maddie asked as she and Ry ran over to me.

"Yup" I replied and Ryker pointed to my belly.

"That's right bub, the baby is in there" I said and he smiled.

"Okay, I'm done" Colby breathed out as he put a hand on Maddie's head, ruffling her hair.

"Alright you guys have fun with Auntie Mara and Auntie Alex" I said and kissed their hair before walking out of the door, Colby behind me.

We got into the truck and I turned the air on.

Just so happens that we have an appointment on our one year so were going out tonight as well as lunch after the appointment.

"You nervous?" Colby asked me as he placed a hand on my knee.

"Mhm" I mumbled and interlocked my fingers with his.

"It'll be okay, I'm sure everything is normal" he told me and I smiled, trying to push the bad thoughts to the back of my mind.

We listened to soft country music as we drove to the clinic.

As we pulled into the drive, I felt my hands getting sweaty and I wiped them.

When he parked, I jumped out of the passenger seat and walked in.

"Appointment at 10 for Y/n Y/l/n" I told the receptionist at the front desk.

"Okay have a seat and the doctor will be out in just a few" she said with a smile.

Colby and I sat down in the waiting area and stayed in comfortable silence.

"Y/n" I voice said and I looked up from my gaze on my lap to see the doctor smiling at me from the door.

I stood up as Colby did and we followed her into a screening room.

"Let me have you make your lower abdomen visible here" she said and I laid down on the table, pulling my hoodie up and rolling my pants down to my hip line.

"Might be a bit cold" she told me before squirting the cool gel on my stomach, which I winced to.

"Now let's see your baby" she said as she used the hand piece to swirl the gel around.

I looked at the screen and we seen a a small blob but it kept disappearing.

"Little one is hiding. You mind if I do a pelvic exam to see?" She asked and I shrugged with a 'I don't mind' look on my face.

She handed me a towel to wipe the gel off and she brought out a sheet.

"I'm gonna step out while you change and put this across you. When your done, prop your knees up and legs apart for me" she said and I nodded as she left.

I took my pants and underwear off as I laid back down and put my legs up, laying the sheet across me.

Colby let her back in and she got out the machine and lube.

"Alright it might be a bit uncomfortable but we gotta check on baby" she said and then put it in.

I winced at the urge to pull away because it was uncomfortable but we seen the baby.
