Chapter 44

Y/n's POV

As soon as I seen Matt's truck pull in the driveway, I ran outside.

Colby got out of the back and I bent down to hug Ryker.

"Oh god, are you okay? Your not hurt are you?" I asked as I grabbed his face and looked at his arms.

"No momma, I'm okay" he said.

I looked at him in the eyes and he nodded.

The rope marks on his wrists said otherwise.

"They tied him up, just let him loose" Colby said.

I let go of Ryker and he hugged me and kissed my cheek before going upstairs.

I grabbed Colby's hand and dragged him outside behind me.

"You expect me to just let our little boy go after he was just kidnapped?!" I asked.

"No that's not what I'm saying. He wanted to come home and take a bath and get in clean clothes, to eat...not feel guilty" he said.

"I wasn't trying to make him feel guilty, I was asking if he was hurt because he was just kidnapped by someone who clearly tied him up. The worst things possible were running through my head, okay?" I said.

"Okay, hey. Breathe" he said as I breathed panicky.

"A lot has happened today, believe me I know. But let's just go inside, make dinner and get showers and we will all lay out in the living room and watch movies" he said and I nodded as my breathing calmed down.

He pulled me to him and I hugged him as he kissed my head.

We walked back inside and I said hey to Matt and Chazz.

"You boys are welcome to stay for dinner, as you two are of course" I told the four of them since Elton and Ginger were still here.

"Well I wish but we should get up to the hospital, Riley asked if we wanted to go visit because Zach is ready to shower and come home so we're his ride" Ginger said.

"Oh okay. Well let me know how they are tonight, I'll probably head up in the morning" I said and they nodded.

We hugged them bye and the kids hugged them.

Ryker ran downstairs to say bye before they left.

"Hey buddy can we talk right quick?" I asked and he nodded.

I still haven't spilt the whole, 'your blood dad wants to meet you' thing but I plan on it soon.

I'm definitely not tonight, not after everything that's happened today.

We walked to his room upstairs with Finn who laid on the bed.

"I'm sorry for being so overwhelming when you got home earlier, I just needed to make sure you weren't hurt. I didn't know exactly what happened when he took you but I was only trying to make sure you were safe and okay" I said.

"I know momma, it's okay" he said.

"Are you okay?" I asked him.
