It's been 3 weeks.

Dad, Gunnar and the triplets aren't in Kansas anymore.

We argued, and argued for the last 2 weeks and he finally gave in, leaving me, Duke and Ryker here at the house.

They are back in LA now, and we're in the house alone.

We had to promise we wouldn't take any risks of getting in trouble because then we would most likely be taken away from dad since he lives in a whole different state over a thousand miles away.

But we're practically set. We all work and our income is pretty good. Ryker and I are in school still per usual and that wasn't changing.

Were okay on money for us individually, the house, Luxe, the cars, the animals, everything was good.

I miss dad, I miss Gunnar and I miss the triplets.

But as of right now, we were going out for dinner. Us, and Haley.

"Hey is she getting dropped off?" I asked Ryker as I buttoned my jeans.

"Yeah, her mom is dropping her off at the restaurant" he said.

"Okay cool. Babe you ready?" I yelled.

"Right here" he said as he came around the corner holding Luxe.

"Oh sorry" I said and pursed my lips together.

"Yeah I'm ready, I'm gonna go get him buckled up and I'll be waiting in the car" he said.

"Okay" I kissed his cheek before he walked off.

"You guys are so getting married" Ryker said and I nudged him with a smile.

"Shut up. Let me go put my shoes on real quick" I said and walked out of his room.

I slid my converse on and tied them quickly before grabbing my phone and walking downstairs.

"Kennel up" I pointed and Moose trotted into his kennel before I shut and locked the door, rewarding with a treat.

"We will be back" I booped his nose before walking out the door.

I got in the back seat of the Impala because I was going to feed Luxe on the way there.

"What is it called again? I need the GPS" Duke asked.

"The Copper Penny" I said and he began typing.

"Okay our quickest route is 37 minutes" he said before pulling out of the driveway.

I started making his bottle and handed it to him.

Although someone still had to hold it, Luxe liked to grab the bottle.

"Babe, can you roll this window down real quick so I don't blow smoke in the car with him? I cant reach the button" I asked Duke.

He began rolling the window down and I was able to hit my vape without getting smoke near him.

Ryker reached his hand out and I went to give it to him when he fell.

"Fuck" I muttered.

Ryker and I were trying to grab it and I'm guessing the bottle slipped from Luxe's mouth cause he started crying.

"Maddie focus on him, I see it" Ryker said.

He still didn't get it though.

"I can grab it, I felt it" Duke said and leaned down, eyes still on the road.
