Chapter 49

Y/n's POV
In the delivery room

I was numbed up and Rose was putting my hair net on.

There were 4 nurses including Rose and my doctor, Dr. Walker.

"Would you like a clear sheet or covered sheet Mrs. Brock?" Walker asked me.

"We can do both and unpin the covered if you decide later on" he added.

"Yeah let's do that" I nodded.

The door opened and in walked Kat and Colby with a 5th nurse. They the two had scrubs, hair nets and masks on.

"Is everything ready?" Walker asked.

"Yes sir" Rose said and rolled a tray to him.

Kat was filming so I suspected they did the explaining already.

"Alright mama, you ready to have these babies?" A nurse asked, her name tag saying Amelia.

"Ready as ill ever be" I smiled.

I had a feeling that not everything would go smoothly but I could just hope for the best at this point.

"Okay were gonna make the first cur, scalpel please?" Walker said.

I felt pressure but no pain.

Colby was leaning forward to me and met my gaze.

"Your okay, right?" I whispered, seeing his eyes go darker than before.

"It's difficult but I can handle it" he whispered back.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"I'm ready" I smiled and he pulled his mask down, kissing my forehead before replacing it.

"I see baby A" Walker said.

"I want to see" I blurted.

"Okay, here you go" Rose said as she and Amelia unpinned the blue sheet.

I watched Walker do his work on my numbed body and a few minutes later, seen a baby's head pop up.

"It's a girl!" Walker exclaimed as the baby was lifted out of me.

"Happy birthday little one!" Amelia smiled.

"Here dad, you can cut the cord" Rose told Colby.

I watched as he cut her cord and turned to me, smiling widely.

I smiled too and all the sound of the room went silent.

"Carly get over here, she's losing a lot of blood" Walker said, being the last thing I could make out.

With only hearing my heartbeat, my head felt fuzzy but faint cries from my first baby entered my head.

My chest felt heavy as it fell and rose with my slow breaths.

"Y/n? Y/n can you hear me? Baby?!" Colby yelled as he shook me.

My head turned to him and I just smiled once again.

Colby's POV

She was extremely pale and clammy, her eyes rolled to the back of her head.

"Y/n baby! Come on!" I yelled.

Monitors started going off and I looked back to see the second baby coming out.

The first was with Rose at the tables.

"Her oxygen levels are dropping, get her a mask!" Doctor Walker yelled.
