Chapter 16

A couple days later
Y/n's POV

Today was Gage's funeral. The doctors told us that no sign of anything to kill him was found and that it was super unexpected. But, they do think his heart stopped which is exactly what happened.

Colby's venom, spread through his bloodstream and stopped his heart from pumping.

As of now, I had just gotten the kids dressed. The funeral would have only been by Colby's parents, me, Colby, the kids, the Ackles family, the Padalecki family, the Collins family, Corey and Devyn, Sam and Kat and Alex.

Once we arrived to the funeral home, I took Maddie and Ryker to the Ackles' and then I went to see Gage's urn.

"Hey Gage. You know we didn't mean to have it like this. It was all an accident" I said as I bent down to it on the small table it sat on.

I stood back up when I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Hey, I'm glad your here" I said as I turned and seen Kat.

"I wouldn't miss it. How are you?" She asked.

"Well mentally, exhausted. Colby has been up every night from nightmares. Physically, also exhausted because when he needs sleep during the day, I have the kids and my body is tired from the baby" I said.

"Oh well you know you can call and ask for help" she said with a frown.

"I know, thank you" I said and hugged her.

"I'm gonna go check on Robert and Pat, I'll see you in a bit" she said and I nodded, leaving her to walk away.

"Mommy?" Maddie said and I looked at her.

"Can you hold me?" She asked and I smiled and picker her up. When I did, I felt pain in my stomach and I immediately put her down.

"Baby I can't, my body hurts, maybe ask daddy to?" I said and she pouted but walked to Colby who picked her up.

I put a hand on my small bump snd took a deep breath. "You okay mama?" Gen asked as she walked to me.

"I went to pick up Maddie and my stomach hurt me" I said and she put a hand on mine.

"Come sit down and take it easy, you've had it rough the past couple days" she told me and I sat down beside Danneel, Gen on my other side.

"You okay?" Jensen asked and I nodded. "Her body is just needing a break" Gen filled in for me.

"Aw mama, here" Danneel said and handed me a water bottle. I sipped from it and Ryker waddled over to me.

"Here buddy, I'll hold you" Jensen offered and he went into his arms.

"Babe, you alright?" Colby asked as he walked over.

"Yeah, I'm okay. I just need a minute to rest" I told him and he nodded with a concerned look on his face.

I sat there and sipped on my water for about 20 minutes until I felt the pain again and I stood up.

I walked to the bathroom and the nausea hit me like a semi truck. I doubled over the toilet and puked, holding my own hair back.

"Y/n,? Hey you alright?" A voice asked and I leaned back up, wiping my mouth and popping my head out.

"Hey Devyn, I think I need to go to the doctor" I told her.

"Okay what do you need me to do?" She asked me.

"I just need someone to drive me. Not Colby, he can't leave and the kids gotta stay with him" I said.
