Chapter 24

8 months later
Y/n's POV

Its been 8 months since the vamp fight with Colby, since Jensen and Danneel moved in at that house, Gypsy had her incident and now Gunnar is 8 months old.

There have been zero signs of the Molly girl that Colby met.

Gypsy has had her ups and downs and we think she's getting sick again.

"Babe, can you clean that up, Gunnar is crying" I said to Colby, motioning to the throw up from Gyspy.

Maddie is 5 now and Ryker just turned 4.

I was walking upstairs to get Gunnar as I heard his crying stop and I thought the worse.

I bolted up the stairs and to his nursery to see Maddie cradling him in his crib.

"Oh baby" I sighed at the sight.

"I didn't mean to scare you momma" she said.

"I know, I'm sorry, it's okay. You want me to take him?" I asked her and she shook her head.

"I'll get him to go back to sleep, it's okay" she said snd I nodded before walking out.

Everything has been stressful because of Gypsy's health and Gunnar just got finished of having a major cold, also the fact that our wedding is in 2 months and were trying to finish planning.

I walked back downstairs and Chance jumped up on me.

He was trained to be an emotional support dog for me because of my anxiety and depression I went through during postpartum a few months back.

"It's alright buddy, I'm okay" I said and pet his head as he licked my face.

I took a couple deep breaths and he jumped back down, signaling I was okay to do whatever I was doing.

I walked to Colby and started helping him clean up.

"I got it" he said and I nodded, backing away.

I went to the kitchen and got Gypsy's medicine she's been taking for the past 3 weeks and sat on the floor next to her bed.

"You ready for your meds girly?" I asked and she laid her head on my lap.

This was normal, she started doing this soon after she was put on them.

I opened her mouth and put the first pill to the back of her throat which she swallowed immediately.

As I put the second one in, I noticed Colby had sat down beside me.

"I don't think she's getting any better" I said and he put a hand on my knee.

"I'll take her in tomorrow, let's just keep watch for the rest of the day" he said and I nodded slowly, enjoying the peace and quiet.

That was, until I heard a thump and crying.

"Damnit" I said and got up, jogging upstairs and to Ryker's room.

"Come here, I got you" I said and picked him up, holding his head to my cheek.

"What happened?" I asked and he pointed to the small chair in front of his window.

"That's why we don't stand on chairs without help, you okay?" I asked and he pulled his head away.

He nodded and I wiped the tears from under his eyes.

"Okay, you wanna go sit with sissy and brother in his room?" I asked and he nodded.

I walked to Gunnar's room and put Ryker in the crib with them.

I walked back out snd downstairs.

I sat down on the couch and watched tv before my phone rang.
