It was around 8 and everyone was up so I sent Jay a DM on Instagram about coming over.

Y/nBrock_2287: What time would you like to come?

JayAustin47: Im actually out and about right now... I could be on my way now?

Y/nBrock2287: Yeah for sure! Any clue what Ayla is up to?

JayAustin47: She's not far from you, I can let her know and she can drive over.

Y/nBrock2287: Okay cool! See you then.

"Well, Jay and Ayla will be over in the next hour or so, he's on his way" I told Colby and he nodded.

"Ry! They will be here soon!" He called.

"Momma, are they nice?" Hunter asked as he walked over.

"Yeah buddy, they are" I said with a smile.

"Lets hope so" Gunnar said as he went into the fridge.

"Ayla is I know... Gunnar, did you ever meet her?" I asked.

"No I don't think so. You said the last time you saw her was at your wedding so no, well yes but I wouldn't remember" he said.

"Yeah that's right" I agreed.

"Y'all kids come eat breakfast, I'm gonna go shower" Colby said and he went upstairs.

The 6 of them piled in the kitchen eating their eggs and toast.

"Ooh mom, can we go to the store and get snacks for the plane?" Gunnar asked.

"Yeah, I'll see if dad can take you" I said and he nodded.

"Wait- how long is Jay gonna be here?" Ryker asked.

"Not super long, it's already 8 so maybe about an hour because of the plane. Are you guys packed up?" I asked.

"Some, I'll finish after breakfast" he replied.

"Okay cool, Maddie? Gunnar? What about yall?" I asked.

"Just gotta get a few things" Maddie said and Gunnar gave me a thumbs up.

"You three are done I know" I said.

I helped the triplets this morning so it was over and done with.

"Are you done, mom?" Maddie asked.

"Yeah, I packed last night before bed, so did your dad. Well, all I have to get is our shower stuff" I said.

"It feels weird knowing we will be going with Finn and coming back without him. I hate it" Ryker said and I looked at him.

"Why isn't he coming back? Is it cause he's sick?" Spyncer asked.

"Uh yeah baby, but it'll be okay. You have Chance and Diesel to love on" I said.

I looked back at Ryker and he mouthed sorry at me.

"You guys finish breakfast and go finish packing, I'm gonna go finish myself" I said and tapped the counter.

"Okay" they replied.

I went upstairs into our room and saw Finn laying on the floor, chewing on a rope toy.

"All these years later, even with little teeth, you still chew on those damn rope toys" I laughed and sat next to him.

"Okay here's the plan little forest puppy" I said and rubbed his ears.

"Were flying back to the old house and you can finally be at peace then okay? You can be buried next to Gypsy, alright?" I asked and looked in his eyes.
