Chapter 2

Brennen's POV

Once my brother, Jake, bailed me out... I knew I had to find Alex and Colby.

So I started running around town and found out they sold the old house and that the new house was owned by Elton again.

But what I didn't know was, Y/n, Colby nor Alex lived there so I made myself look dumb.

"They don't fucking live here, get off my fucking property" Elton said as he shoved me out of the door.

He slammed it in my face and I just chuckled.

"Wait a few minutes so he leaves before you tell them" Corey's muffled voice said.

"Okay" I heard Matt's voice say. I can follow him so I know where they live.

I waited in a bush for a while until Matt walked out with keys in his hand.

He looked around the property before getting in his car and starting to drive off.

That's when I seen a bike on the sidewalk so I took it and started riding after him.

It was a short ride but when we pulled up to this gorgeous house, I threw the bike in the other yard and went to the side of the house.

Matt was here for only 10 minutes before I watched him leave, staying hidden in a bush.

"Now's my time" I whispered and jumped on the fence to get to a window.

The window was locked so I crawled down and went to the back door where it was unlocked.

I had no clue they had dogs and as soon as I opened the door, the two dogs came running at me and a dark one bit my calf as the other grabbed my hand with its teeth.

"Ow fuck!" I yelled and yelled on the floor where the two continued biting me.

By now, I was a bloody mess and there was a lot of blood on the floor beneath me.

"Amara, get the kids out of here!" Colby's voice echoed through the house.

A loud whistle called and the two dogs came off of me by command.

"Brennen what the fuck" Y/n said.

"What the fuck are you doing in my house you piece of shit?! Coming into my house with my family!" Colby yelled as he grabbed my shirt collar and got up in my face.

"I know you followed Matt here" he said to me.

I looked around anywhere but Colby's eyes and seen the two dogs panting next to Y/n's side as my blood dripped from their tongues.

"I fucking deserve it I know" I breathed out as I held my leg in pain.

"Please just... help" I said.

"Fuck no" Colby told me as he pushed me to the ground.

"I got it, go get the dogs their meds to calm down" Colby said to Y/n and she walked off, the two trotting behind her.

Y/n's POV

Once the dogs were trained to attack intruders, we were authorized medication so their adrenaline would go down and they would stop attacking.

We knew Brennen followed Matt here, it was bound to happen.

"Finn, Gypsy come" I called to them as I sat them down on the kitchen to get the medication.

I took out a jar of peanut butter and dipped my finger in it, hiding a pill and then letting Finn lick it off before I did the same with Gypsy.
