Chapter 31

Sam's POV

Me, Kat and all the kids were laying in Colby and Y/n's room when Robert came to the door.

"Samuel" he said and I got up, glancing at Kat before walking out of the room with him.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"Your mom called, said she tried to call you but your cell was off... your dad was in an accident" he said.

"What kind of accident?" I asked.

"Car. She said he's in the hospital and in a coma but had a bad injury to his back and hips" he told me.

"Okay. Thanks for telling me" I said and walked back in there.

"Katrina can I use your phone? I need to call my mom" I asked and she handed it to me.

I dialed her number and walked to the window, staring outside.

"Kat?" She answered. "No its me mom, what happened to dad?" I asked.

"Car accident, one t-boned him and the other headed straight in front of him. Allison was in the passenger seat and came out with a concussion and broken arm. Your dad on the other hand... we don't really know but he has a back and hip injury and in a coma" she said.

"I'm getting the first flight out to Kansas, I'll see you soon" I said and she hung up.

"What's going on?" Kat asked as I searched for plane tickets.

"Dad and Allison were in a car accident" I told her.

"Go, fly out. I'll stay here so I can help with them" she said.

I found a flight that leaves tonight at 11PM and it was currently 4PM.

"I'm gonna head back and pack up, you wanna come home?" I asked Katrina.

"I'll stay here tonight, I'll be okay" she told me.

"Alright, I'll be back here in a couple hours" I said kissed her lips.

I walked out and was on my way to the door when Robert called my name.

"Sam, tell your family were praying" he said and I nodded before going to get in my car.

I decided against calling Colby because he and his wife were on their honeymoon so I didn't wanna bother.

Y/n's POV

"I just don't understand why she argued with my mom" Colby said.

We had been talking about the call we got from Kat for about 30 minutes now.

"She was protecting Ryker, standing up for her little brother" I said as I pulled over.

"What are you doing?" He asked.

"I'm going to find out why these dickheads are on my ass" I said and motioned to the black car that also pulled over.

I got out and walked back, tapping on the window.

"Yeah I don't know who you are but 1 you could cause an accident and 2, this isn't my car" I said.

"Oh, sorry sweetheart, didn't know you cared" he said with an evil grin.

"Yes I fucking care, my husband and I are in that car" I said.

"Ooh, she has a mouth on her now doesn't she?" He asked to somebody in the back.

Colby walked up beside me and his eyes flashed.

"Hybrid" he said.

"Hello Cole, Y/n. You see, I just need back what's mine" he said and I raised a brow.
