Chapter 22

Since the triplets carseats were already in Kat's car, I took one in as Colby took the other two.

We went in and went up the elevator to the room where Kat was in just a pair of the the diaper shorts and a t-shirt.

"Sorry Colby, pants are uncomfortable" she said and he shrugged.

"You just birthed 3 humans, it's okay" he said.

We sat the carseats in a corner, stacking them.

"So I see you showered, where's Sam and the babies?" I asked as I played with her wet hair.

"He's bathing them right now. Can you guys help me walk over? I'm still in pain" she said.

Colby and I got on either side of her and helped her stand up where she placed a hand on her lower belly where her incision is.

"You alright? Need a minute?" Colby asked.

"I'm okay, let's go" she said.

We helped her as she slowly walked into the bathroom and sat on a chair that was next to the sink.

"I sat in this when I got my shower earlier" she said and I laughed.

I watched as Sam bathed the three babies who were wide awake and alert.

"Oh goodness, their little faces" I said with a lip puckered.

"I want another one" I whined and Sam shot me a look before pointing at Colby.

I looked over and he was glaring at me with a smirk.

"I'd rather not have another before Gunnar is at least 2. He's 3 weeks old Y/n" he said and I laughed.

"I know, I'm messin but on a serious note, they are adorable" I said.

"Yes they are. We decided to give them their first bath after Benson shat everywhere" Sam said and Colby laughed.

"That reminds me, when you were napping one day... Gunnar pooped and it was all over him and myself" he said.

"Oh my god, of course" I laughed.

"How are you feeling, Kat?" Colby asked her.

"Pain is pretty bad, I got some sleep last night and that probably added up to about 7 hours from being ip every little bit with them. But I'm okay" she said.

"Well just try to take it as easy as possible. Ooh and making Sam give you foot rubs are gonna be needed" I said.

"You hearin this? I don't think I am" Sam joked acting as if he were talking to the triplets.

Colby and I waited for the bathing to be done and then we went and got the triplets while Sam helped Kat back to the bed.

"Okay can you hand those outfits over?" Kat asked and I handed her the three sleepers.

She had Gracyn in front of her on the bed in only a diaper and she put the mauve colored sleeper on her.

Then she put Oliver in the white sleeper with plants and finally, Benson in the gray one.

Sam held the boys as Colby held Gracyn and I helped Kat put up a small bassinet type thing on the bed with an orange blanket inside.

They laid the babies in and Kat took a picture, laughing at the faces the boys were making.

"Im posting this on Instagram, now Y/n can you help take this back down... I don't wanna get in trouble" she said and I laughed.

We put the bassinet away and Sam, Colby and I held a baby each while Kat did her thing.
