Chapter 15

Gen's POV

"Babe come on, were gonna be late! I bet Danneel and Jensen are already there" I called from downstairs.

"Okay, I'm ready now" he said as he fled down the stairs.

Today was Y/n and Colby's gender reveal. It had been 4 months since my miscarriage and we were coping well. Grief still exists but were working through it.

The kids buckled themselves into the car and I helped Odette in her carseat before getting in the passenger seat.

We drove the 2 hours and made it to the Brock household just in time. "Hey, your here" Y/n said as she hugged me.

"Yeah finally, my moose was taking too long" I said and rolled my eyes playfully at him.

He ran off dramatically to find Colby and Jensen sitting at the kitchen table.

"You bump is here!" I squealed and placed my hand on her small baby bump that started to appear more.

"I know. Some of my clothes are already getting tight again" she told me and I laughed.

Kat walked up next to me and hugged me and I seen she had a bump as well but it was a lot bigger.

"Oh my goodness how many are in there?" I asked and she laughed before placing a hand on her belly.

"Triplets" she said and I widened my eyes. "Katrina! You didn't tell any of us!" I yelled in shock.

"Right, I just found out a couple days ago myself" Y/n said.

"I wanted to keep it a secret" she said and I nodded.

"Well congratulations!" I squealed and then we heard a voice on a microphone.

"Ladies and gents, everyone here today celebrating the gender reveal of the newest addition to the Brock family, can I have mom and dad up on stage please?" Sam said over the mic.

"Ooh, c'mon" Y/n said and we walked through the crowd. I noticed Misha and Matt were here, Colby's family and some friends from back in Los Angeles.

Y/n's POV

Colby and I stood on the stage and held our needle to the balloons. We had a set up of 7 black balloons stuck to a board and they all had either pink or blue confetti in them but the color that appeared most is the gender.

I jumped up and down nervously and Colby laughed at me and grabbed my hand before placing a soft kiss on it.

"Alright 1st balloon, what is it?" Corey asked through the mic.

I popped it to reveal blue confetti. The next was pink and the one after was blue. The colors alternated through the 6 balloons until we got to the 7th.

"The time is here, can I get two people with poppers over here?" Corey asked.

I pointed to Jensen while Colby pointed to Gen.

"In 3...2...1!" He yelled and the balloon had blue in it. Jensen and Gen twisted the poppers to reveal blue dust.

I screamed and jumped up and down and hugged Colby.

Everybody cheered for us as we enjoyed our moment for this baby.

I had Gen pop another so I could get a picture after we all died down of cheers.

We ate our finger foods we catered and people started to go home except Colby's family, Sam, Kat, Gen, Jared, Jensen and Danneel.

"So Sam, Kat, when do you find out the gender?" Pat asked and they exchanged a look and I knew what they meant.
