Expectation Vs. Reality in WoF!

Clay is born from a blood-red egg.

Expectation: Wow! That must mean MudWings really ARE important and come into the story line in arc two and three!

Reality: MudWings do relatively NOTHING in arc two and three.

Tsunami is a princess.

Expectation: Well, she's a princess now, so she's gonna start acting more civilized.

Reality: heh heh nope not even close

Glory is the queen of the RainWings now.

Expectation: Well, that's the end, right? Happy ending for her, whoohoo!

Reality: Glory is now queen of TWO tribes, the RainWings and the NightWings (Two most powerful tribes if I do say so myself(And I do))

Starflight gets his own book.

Expectation: Well, Starflight was really beaten down in the other books, so his book is going to be a fan favorite, right?

Reality: Everyone hates his book except for me (it's one of my favorites).

Sunny get her own book.

Expectation: We're gonna get a wholesome, adorable Sunny point of view!

Reality: Sunny is a lil' rebel now.

Moon has mind reading.

Expectation: Well, she's OBVIOUSLY going to go digging around in everyone's minds because that's what a NORMAL PERSON would DO. I mean, who wouldn't want mind reading to look around everyone's secrets, that's the literal POINT!

Reality: Moon tries to stay out of peoples' minds and gives all her friends Skyfire.

Winter is nice now.

Expectation: Uh-huh. Riiiiiiiight. I DON'T trust him, he's probably going to stab them in the back or something when they least expect it!

Reality: ...he's just nice now, okie? Accept it.

Peril is at Jade Mountain Academy with Clay.

Expectation: Ooo-hoo-hooo, now Clay and Peril can finally become the superior OTP! I mean, they're both in JMA... together... some spicy stuff has GOTTA happen, right?

Reality: Peril leaves for almost the entire book and Clay FINALLY develops a TINY ITTY-BITTY crush for her.

Turtle gets his own book.

Expectation: Are you kidding me? The PUDDLE dragon gets his own book? Well, this'll suck.

Reality: He trails Darkstalker and is now in one of the greatest ships in the entire WoF universe: Turtlejou.

Qibli gets his own book.

Expectation: Well, this is obviously going to be AMAZING, we're going to see into his mind and he's gonna go on so many adventures, plus it's one of the biggest non - legend  books, so it'll be so amazing action-packed!

Reality: Qibli throughout the entire book = I wish I was SHPECIAL!

Just so you know, I have NO PROBLEM with ANY of these books. I love them all. I've read them all at least twice, and they're all amazing, I'm just letting you know my opinions. I didn't think Qibli's book was bad, I liked it a lot! I was just surpised on his point of view. I also like Moon's book a lot, I've read it twenty times. It's not that it's my favorite, it's just fun to read, because it captures the Jade Winglet's personality really well, and you get to see inside their minds ehehe. (My favorite is probably both of the Legen dbooks or the fourth or eighth one, by the way)
