Two weeks had passed.

Bel had been searching the school for the Chamber of Secrets once a week, during what would have been a lesson with Dumbledore.

It was like a shift.

But so far, she hadn't found a thing. And neither had anyone else.

Keeping it all a secret from Harry, Ron, and Hermione had been easier that way.

Considering she simply walked around the school searching for a hidden room that might not even exist, it was easy to put it out of her mind as nothing of interest was happening.

Besides, there were a few things that were discussed during the time she spent around the three Gryffindors.

The first being the voice Harry had heard which led him to the hallway that night.

Hermione kept reiterating that it wasn't a good thing to hear voices, even in this world.

Bel had to agree. The voices she heard came from a wand that was trying to turn her into a dark witch.

And Harry hadn't heard the voice again since that night, and so Bel told him not to worry himself too much about it.

It was curious, however, that Harry had heard a voice that no one else could hear.

Bel wondered if it could be in connection to the Chamber of Secrets, but as she was keeping her involvement with such a matter secret, she refrained from mentioning it.

The second thing that the group discussed was Bel's recent triumph in making the Hufflepuff quidditch team as a new chaser.

Tia had also made it as a beater.

Harry hadn't held back his excitement that he would be playing against her on the pitch that year.

Considering his position he would pretty much stay out of the way, but Bel had vowed that she would try and score so many times that it wouldn't matter if Harry caught the snitch or not.

Naturally, she didn't think she could as Harry was the best seeker in the school.

But he had told her that she might just give Hufflepuff a chance now that she was on their team.

He had also said that he wasn't going to miss when Hufflepuff played Slytherin.

Now that Malfoy was on the team, Bel had spoken to Tia about targeting him during their game.

Tia's mother was a muggle-born witch and so she and her brother both took the 'mudblood' term very seriously, and it didn't take long for both Buttleshots to plan out just how they were going to take Malfoy down the second their match began.

However, there was a third thing that occupied most of Bel's thoughts now.

About a week ago, she received a letter.

It was anonymous and written in a different kind of handwriting from the ones she had received last year.

The writing was almost childish, like it was from a student.

When Bel had taken it to her room and opened it, she had stopped breathing.

'Missed me?' it read.
