Bel stayed in the forest for about an hour until the sun started to dim leaving barely any reassuring light.

Whilst she felt safe inside the clearing, she couldn't stay there all night.

And she still had to walk back through the Forbidden Forest to reach the school grounds.

So before she got up from her comfortable position resting against the willow tree, she quickly recapped everything her mind had thought over.

Her first priority had been how she was going to tell her friends the truth.

The truth about her and her wand.

The truth about the darkness she had to learn to control.

The truth about what her wand could turn her into.

The truth that frightened her to no end.

Bel had decided that it was like a band-aid that needed ripping off.

She needed to sit them down, blurt it out and then walk away before giving them a chance to reply.

That way she would have fulfilled her wands demand and won't have to suffer through the pain of watching as her friends turned against her.

Bel had also decided that the only people she would tell would be the ones she could trust to keep it a secret.

She didn't need word spreading around school that what the sorting hat said was true.

She didn't need everyone whispering behind her back even more than they had been.

She didn't need to feel the fearful and judgmental looks in others eyes as she passed them by.

She didn't need Draco Malfoy having another reason to tease her and push his offer of being friends onto her more than he already does.

So, she would tell Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ollie and Riley.

Tia was way too competitive, and Bel was almost certain she would accidentally let it slip during a heated row with a Slytherin.

For now, she needed to keep it contained.

Bel had also decided to tell Cedric.

He was like an older brother to her and had been at the school for three years now.

She trusted him.

Her second priority was the mysterious notes she had received.

Bel came up with a solution to that pretty quickly.

It was a problem that needed to unravel itself with time.

She couldn't do anything about it until she had more notes.

Perhaps the person writing them would slip up somehow?

She had already checked the writing against the note she had from her mother.

It didn't match.

That was when she figured it could all just be a student messing with her.

The notes would have to wait.

The third priority was dealing with her curious Gryffindor friends.

She would be lying if she wasn't intrigued by the unravelling mystery of what was under that trap door Fluffy was guarding.
