I do not own Harry Potter ... but these chapters going past in months is making me laugh and also be very confused

Bel blinked and it was June.

End of year exams were upon the school, and everyone was so panicked about them, it appeared the entire Sirius Black threat was entirely overshadowed.

In the past two months, Bel had been through a rather disappointing time.

For starters, Cedric had been very angry that she had to sit out of the Hufflepuff vs Slytherin quidditch match.

It was only after Bel had burst into tears, exclaiming that Buckbeak was to be killed, that he finally eased up and gave her a consoling hug.

But his anger returned in much greater quantities when Hufflepuff lost to Slytherin.

All Bel could do was apologise, try and calm a very irritated Cedric and Tia, and practice twice as hard for their match with Ravenclaw.

That was just one thing Bel practiced hard in during the two months.

The second was her Patronus.

Ever since she learned of Buckbeak's fate, Bel hadn't been able to produce one.

No matter which memory she chose, no matter how hard she focused, it didn't work.

Dumbledore told her not to beat herself up about it, and that it would come back soon.

He theorized that, since Bel's own Patronus was a hippogriff, the fate of the real creature had impacted not only her heart, but her soul.

She was hurting, and whilst she had managed to push it down to keep strong, that didn't mean it had vanished.

Her failed Patronus attempts showed that.

And due to her failings, Dumbledore was forced to remove her from the Sirius Black situation entirely since she wasn't able to defend herself.

Despite the Ministry's protests that she should still be kept on certain duties, Dumbledore had put his foot down.

Bel found herself being both relieved and aggravated at this.

She despised not being able to live up to the titles she set out to honour.

She had also never dealt well with failure or guilt.

She couldn't shake the feeling that if something were to happen, both would come rushing back detrimentally.

But with exams approaching, she had little time to study with all of her responsibilities and extra lessons with Dumbledore.

Not to mention that, again, nothing more had happened.

Sirius Black hadn't been sighted again, and the dementors were staying off the grounds.

And so, Bel had tried to argue for her to stay involved but dropped it pretty quickly.

Harry was over the moon when she told him.

As were the rest of her friends.

All of them sighed in complete relief when she said she was no longer spending time around the dementors.

So did Professor Lupin.

He seemed just as calmed with the knowledge that Bel was going to be away from them for a while.
