"Jordan?" Calum whispers, his voice broken and dry.
I only just got him to wake up after calming myself from my small meltdown when I almost stabbed a man.
Michael slowly staggers over to the two of us as Calum tries to roll over towards me. I quickly place my knees behind his back to stop him from rolling.
"No, Calum, don't move." I warn softly, not wanting to worry him too much.
"What? Why?" He frowns in confusion and tries to roll over to face me again.
"Calum, no," I warn him again. "Just stay still. Try not to move."
"Why? What's going on?" I can see the anxiety starting to form in his eyes.
"Everything's fine, Cal, just stay still."
"No, what's going on? What happened? Wait, why haven't you been home? Where have you been? Why are you avoiding me? Are you okay? Why-"
"Stop with all the questions Cal," I laugh lightly to try to get him to relax. "I'm fine."
"I know when you're lying, Jordan. Don't lie to me. Where have you-"
"Calum no." I warn quickly as he rolls over to face me, but he doesn't listen.
"Calum." Michael hisses and tries to hold Calum in place but he's too late.
Calum yelps halfway through rolling over and stops midway, placing all his weight on his side that is lying in a pile of shattered glass.
"Calum!" I yell worriedly and pull him so that he's rolled off the glass. "I told you not to move."
"What the hell is going on?" He looks up at me with a panicked look.
"You can't remember?" Michael frowns.
Calum shakes his head rapidly back and forth with an anxious look on his face.
"Don't worry," I place my hand on his cheek. "It'll come back to you soon, but right now we need to get you cleaned up. I need to get all of you cleaned up."
-
"It's not serious, right?" Luke frowns as I kneel down beside Calum who is now lying on the floor in front of the heater downstairs.
"I don't think it's that bad. I'll get all of the pieces of glass out first and then we'll see."
Luke nods and rests his head back down on the arm of the lounge, and places the bag of frozen peas back onto his forehead, as his tall frame is spread out over the entire lounge. I find it nice that the boys worry about each other the way they do. If one is injured the others have to know whether he is going to be okay or not.
"Is this going to hurt?" Calum juts out his bottom lip slightly.
"It shouldn't hurt too much, I'll be gentle."
Calum nods and lets me inspect his injuries without too much hesitation, but through his clothing I can't see much, and I especially won't be able to get the glass pieces out this way.
"You're going to have to strip." I sigh and lean back slightly.
"What?" Calum's eyes widen and the boys mimic his shock.
"I can't get to the glass when you have your clothes on."
"But..."
"Don't tell me you're going all shy on me now, Cal." I smirk and nudge him lightly. "It's not like I haven't seen you naked before."
Calum's cheeks turn bright red as the boys wolf whistle and carry on. "But it's... It's weird when, you know, the boys are here..."
"Cal, I don't know what you think we'll be doing, but I'm just going to be picking glass out of your body, so nothing is going to happen here mate." I laugh lightly.
