Narrator's POV

Camila returned to the kitchen faster than expected. Lauren and Dinah were sitting at the kitchen island. They looked at Camila as she walked in. Dinah put her phone down, and Lauren stopped playing with the apple she took from the fruit basket on the dining table. Camila did not look happy. She looked at Lauren and Dinah who sat there like nothing wrong happened.

"He's gone?" Dinah knew he did, but she still asked when Camila looked at them but said nothing.

"Yes, you should have told me if you wanted to come, Dinah!" Camila was not happy. She took herself a glass of cold drink to calm herself down.

"Sorry, Mila! We don't think he is good for you." Dinah was going to tell Camila why they came.

"So, you planned it?!" She looked at Dinah and Lauren. Dinah looked at Lauren. "You came here to ruin my date?!"

"Mila..." Dinah looked at upset Camila.

"Yes," Lauren said.

Camila looked at Lauren, "Can you just stop?" She could ignore Lauren's message asking her to cancel the date, but she could not I ignored it further when Lauren came and ruin it for real.

Lauren did not answer.

"Mila... let me explain!" Dinah said, and Camila didn't answer, but she was ready to listen to the explanation. Camila was that girl: how upset she was, she would still listen. "Since we know you, we like you. You are not just a friend to us. You are a sister to Normani and me..." Camila glanced at Lauren. "Lauren, too." Lauren looked away and drank her water. "We know who Timothée is. He's not good for you. So, we do this because we want to protect you."

"No, you don't know him. He is a nice guy." Camila and Lucy agreed on this. "He's polite, sweet, and kind."

Lauren snorted. "Should know better." She sipped her ice water.

"I was about to... but someone kept ruining it," Camila answered and glared at Lauren.

The doorbell rang. Camila wondered who it was. Could it be Timothée who left angrily?

"It must be the delivery guy." Dinah stood up and followed Camila to get the door.

"Thank you!!" Dinah received the food. It was pizza and pasta.

After receiving the food, they settled in the dining room for dinner. Everyone was hungry. They were quiet when they started digging into the food, but they continued their conversation when the mood in the room was changing when everyone was having their dinner.

"Camila, I did not say he is a bad guy. He is pretty sweet to be fair, but the people around him are not good for you." Dinah restarted the conversation.

"I don't think you know him," Camila said.

"We know almost everything about him," Dinah said.

"Really? Then tell me what you know?" Camila casually challenged Dinah. "I need good reasons to feel good for not dating him."

"We can't tell you everything, but we can guarantee that the people around him, family and close friends, will not approve and like you, "Dinah explained.

"I am not convinced." Camila was less upset than ten minutes ago. The food was calming her down.

Lauren, who sat across Camila, next to Dinah had her dinner quietly. In general, she did not like to talk when she ate. So, she did not respond to their conversation, but she listened. She might break her habit if she could not stand Camila's stubbornness further.
