Narrator's POV :

After considering a few psychologists, including Ms. Brooke, whom Lauren suggested through Normani, Camila decided to choose Ms. Briggs, one of those whom her mother suggested. She told Normani she appreciated Lauren's support. She thought it was better to choose someone not related to Lauren besides Ms. Brooke also had a limited schedule. Camila would have her session every Friday and she had her initial session with Mr. Briggs last Friday.

On campus, she would stay in public when she was on campus. She would go to her mother's cafe after coming from campus if she felt anxious. She would sit by the corner and do her stuff. Sometimes, she would challenge herself to go home and stay home by herself. She would call Normani when she got anxious when she was alone at home. Fortunately, Normani was always there for her. It was not coincidental. Lauren had assigned Normani to watch over Camila immediately after she met Camila for the first time.

Normani did not accidentally meet Camila on the campus that day nor she accidentally found Camila at the foot of South Hill. She was on her duty to watch over Camila those days. She was also the one who saved Camila from the wolf at South Hill. She saw the opportunity and became friends with Camila. Although everything was kind of planned, Camila and Normani's friendship developed naturally. Normani did not expect that but she loved their growing friendship.

Nothing was coincident, including the moving of Normani to Camila's neighborhood. Normani and her mother were searching for a new place. They had several options, including the one in Camila's neighborhood. They narrowed to two options left. They finally decided to take the one at Camila's neighborhood after Lauren talked them into it. Normani and her mother agreed. Normani was also happy that she could live close to her new human friend, Camila. Lauren had covered all the renovation costs so that Normani and her mother could live comfortably.

Camila and Normani's friendship was gradually going strong. Meanwhile, Camila and Lucy's friendship was at risk. Lucy had replied to Camila's message three days after Camila texted her. She did not write much. She only told Camila that she was getting better and would meet her on the campus next Monday, which was today. Camila did not see Lucy in the morning. They did not share the same activities, so she hoped to meet her after the class.

.

Camila had finished meeting her professor. She went to the spot where they usually met after class. She waited for Lucy, who texted her that she would meet her soon. Camila was a bit anxious waiting for Lucy. She knew it would be not easy and awkward after what had happened to them. Lucy showed up five minutes later. She was wearing a hat and glasses, covering her recovering wounds.

"Hi!" Lucy smiled subtly.

"Hi!" Camila greeted Lucy back. She was too shocked to respond to Lucy because she was looking at Lucy's condition. Lucy had lost some weight and looked lethargic, even though she still looked fashionable.

They did not hug each other as usual, but they did hug but an awkward hug. They slightly hugged and separated soon.

"How are you?" Lucy asked. Unlike her, Camila physically looked better, even though she wore simple clothes and looked sad.

"I'm good." Camila felt super awkward. She did not ask Lucy back. They both knew each other's news from their mothers.

"Do you want to grab something to drink at the cafe across the street?" Lucy asked.

"Yes," Camila said.

They walked to the cafe quietly. None spoke as the awkwardness was loud.
