Narrator's POV

Lauren gave Camila a tour of her house. She used this moment to speak more in front of Camila. She was relaxed and calm, explaining every part of the house to Camila professionally. She saw how Camila was being awkward for the first fifteen minutes. She knew Camila needed time to adjust. It was the first time Camila saw her speak more. After fifteen minutes passed, Camila lost her awkwardness. She started to talk to Lauren, having questions about the house. The tour had become the first time when they could talk to each other normally and decently.

Lauren did not show all parts of her house, but she showed Camila almost everything. She never gave a tour to others before. Lauren asked Camila if she wanted to see her master bedroom when they arrived in front of Lauren's bedroom. Camila said it was not necessary. She wanted to skip Lauren's room for two reasons. She thought it was Lauren's privacy. She remembered when she saw Lauren by her bedroom balcony. Anna came and guided her to leave the area like it was a restricted area. The second reason was she did not want to be in Lauren's bedroom, thinking of what Lauren could do to her if they were in a bedroom.

Lauren decided not to show Camila her master bedroom because Camila did not want to. She could insist on showing Camila, but she did not want to. Lauren did not want to show Camila her master bedroom not because of privacy. She would not mind sharing her private room with Camila, who she believed would be her wife in the future. She did not show Camila just yet because she wanted to have another intimate night with Camila. If it happened, she wanted it to happen in her room.

The tour that lasted for almost two hours inside the house ended at the kitchen area where Anna and Mariah were preparing for dinner. Lauren asked Mariah to show Camila the kitchen. Mariah, the main person in charge of the kitchen and meals, was happy to give Camila a tour of the kitchen. She told Camila excitedly like the kitchen was her heaven. After showing Camila the kitchen, Mariah asked Camila to join them to make a pizza. Camila hesitated, but she joined them after Anna encouraged her.

Lauren left Camila with Anna and Mariah and went to the study room as she had things to do. Camila spent her late afternoon learning to make pizza with Mariah and Anna. Laughter was heard in the kitchen. They were having fun talking and making the pizza.

"Camila, do you like staying here?" Mariah asked. She was a cheerful lady in her late fifties.

"Eh, yeah..." Camila was a bit surprised by the question that made her feel awkward, "I am well fed here..." Camila tried to joke to make it less awkward.

"Really? You loved the food I made?" Mariah did not have to question herself, but she was still delighted to hear someone saying how good her cooking was. She knew she was Lauren's chef for a reason.

"Yes. It's amazing." Camila said.

"I thought you did not like them." Mariah knew when Camila was not eating much yesterday.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I was not in a good mood. I missed my mom. It's not that your food was bad. Sorry!" Camila looked at Mariah, hoping she would understand.

"It's okay my dear. I understand." Mariah said.

"Did you manage to talk to her?" Anna asked. She left when Camila was contacting her mother.

"Yeah... I mean not through a call, but we had a chat through messages." Camila smiled.

"Do you sometimes cook at home?" Mariah loved talking.

"Hardly, my mom does the cooking," Camila answered.

"She must be a good cook, too," Mariah said.
