You and shenhe went to the construction site of the jade chamber, you found beidou and Yun Jin as it looks like they already got their price for being the winner because you can see ningguang already talking to the two of them.

Ningguang notices your presence and looks in your direction and smiles at you but quickly fades once she sees shenhe holding onto your arm like you belong to shenhe to which she lets out an unsatisfied scoff seeing that.

You felt a sudden shivered on your spine when you noticed ningguang somehow looked unsatisfied with what she is witnessing right now as you cleared your throat and gently take your arm off shenhe and told her to wait in this spot while you went to talk to ningguang.

You went towards ningguang who just looked at you before folding her arms and had a force smile which you gulped slightly before speaking.

"Ning...I..I hope the materials we found is enough for the jade chamber to be complete.."

You said hesitantly because you can feel she was really not in her usual mood and not to mention that force smile looks like it could devour you any seconds.

"The materials were enough for the jade chamber to be complete, I already thank beidou and Yun Jin and gave them what they needed as promise"

"Well my job is not really done, there is still one winner that hasn't met their right prices for their hard work yet"

She said suddenly taking a step closer to which you took a step back but then ningguang grabbed you by the collar and pulled you back as you were inches away from her.

Shenhe was witnessing this as she was slightly surprised but kept an observation while ningguang can see how shenhe was watching you both silently without any reaction to which she smirked a bit before looking at you.

"Well? What does the hero of liyue want to have as a reward? I will consider anything, I'd even give you one of my valuable things that might catch your attention and I know mora is not a problem with you but I'd still consider it if you want more"

You were surprised by her suggestions which is too many for a mere adepti like you but then you have your answer as you didn't want to participate and only want to help her in any way.

"I don't want anything, ning. I told you that, I just want to help you rebuild your jade chamber in anyways because I know how the jade chamber is important to you and I'm okay with only giving my helping hands on rebuilding your precious jade chamber"

You replied which is ningguang's turned to be surprised now before smiling and fixing your collar before looking at you and held your face.

She said smiling and spoke again.

"But still I need you to consider one, I won't accept a no for that"
