Chapter 25

Your POV

You, Yume and Leo had just passed the gate to go wait to board the plane. You had at least 30 minutes to spare. As you were talking to Yume about the flight back, you heard a strong and overpowering voice echo down the hallway. You immediately stopped mid sentence and listened. It was a song someone was singing. You listened closely to the tune and the words. It clicked together. You knew that song. It was 'Cape of Storms'. Hyde! Was he here?! He didn't text you or anything but it must be him. It had to be. You dropped the bag you were carrying and ran back to the turnstiles, making sure not to bump into anyone. You heard Yume calling you, but you ignored her.

"Hideto!",you cried out as you got closer. Once you saw the turnstiles again, Hyde was there standing on the other side. He looked directly at you as you ran to him. You reached over to the other side and hugged him. "You came to see me", you said, getting emotional, not letting yourself hold back. This really meant a lot to you. Hyde was hugging you back tightly, "It was a last minute decision. I'm glad Yukihiro worked something out. I desperately wanted to see you before you left" he told you before giving you a few kisses on your forehead affectionately. Yukihiro did this for the two of you? This must've taken some sort of sacrificing not going to their meeting on time. But regardless you were happy it worked out. "I wanted to see you too. Now I can. Make sure you thank Yukihiro for me" you replied. You would have to thank him yourself again in person next time you saw him. "I will. I'm just glad you heard me singing. I wasn't sure it was going to work. But it was the only thing I could think of. I was running around the airport looking for you" Hyde told you. As a singer, it was a smart move. He knew how to manipulate his voice and make himself be heard. But knowing he ran looking for you throughout this place, just to see you. It brought tears to your eyes. He must've been using some vampire abilities to find you. You never told him what gate you were going to or where you were at all. "Thank you" you told him, trying not to cry. Hyde wiped away some tears that were rolling down your cheeks. Though the tender gesture only made you cry more. Gawd you were going to miss him a lot.

"I love you, my Angel. I'll miss you every moment I'm away from you", Hyde said, giving you another hug while rubbing your back gently as you cried. You would add that you'd miss him more, but as for his vampire emotions being twice as strong as yours would, it might be impossible. You'd only hurt if he was hurting and you knew he was trying his best to be strong for you right now. Once you left, you knew you feel his pain in your heart. "I love you too Takarai Hideto" you referred to him by his full name this time. It was more intimate. You grabbed ahold of his hand so you could hold it tight.

"You should get back to your friends. Don't miss your flight, my angel" Hyde told you. He was right. There wasn't much time left before the flight. You stopped crying long enough to give him a kiss on his lips. "I'll text you when I'm home, okay. Take care" you said, wishing he really would take care of himself emotionally. He nodded. You slowly pulled away. Your fingers running down the palm of his hands. The same gesture that started it all, would be the last. For a while at least.

Hyde's POV

(Y\N) walked away and disappeared down the hallway to be with her friends and fly home. I was happy to be able to see her again. I just hope it won't be too long until we meet again. Who knows how long I'd be able to take it without her being by my side. I could already feel my emotions stirring again. I'm sure it could've been worse if I didn't have this chance. But this was still going to hit me hard regardless. I was able to stay strong talking to her, but without her, I couldn't hold it in any longer. I started crying. My eyes stung as the tears started to pour out. She was gone. Out of my reach. "(Y\N)", I whispered her name through my tears, wanting her back already.

"Were you able to talk to her?", I heard a voice ask me. I recognized it, it was Yukihiro. They must have finally been able to track me down. I didn't look at him or Ken. I didn't even say anything. I just nodded. "I see. That's good. We should get going then" Yukihiro told me. I know he wasn't trying to be pushy or inconsiderate of my feelings. We still had a meeting to go to. But I really wanted to be alone at that moment. I didn't want to leave just yet. Yukihiro turned me around so he could look at me, "If you want, I can make you take a nap until we get there. At least the pain will go away for a little bit" he offered, showing sympathy. Going to sleep, forgetting the pain before it got any worse, sounded like the best thing I could do. But vampires can't use their spells on each other. Unless, the other was willing to submit. At this moment, I was willing to. For those moments of painless slumber. I forced myself to lift my head and look at him, showing my willingness. Yukihiro stared into my eyes. My mind suddenly went blank. I stopped crying. Now feeling relaxed, I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
