Chapter 38

What would've happened if Hyde and the rest of the boy weren't there. Would it have been like a normal hang out? Too many questions and what ifs. It terrified you but It didn't really matter now. What happened, happened. But you were relieved to have all the boys with you.

You let Hyde be affectionate with you. Pulling you close to him to cuddle and forehead kisses. It did feel nice and it made you happy to know he was safe next to you. It helped calm your mind from overthinking. Hopefully it had a similar effect on him and how he was feeling. "Hyde, thank you for protecting me and Yume. I never imagined things would've turned out that way" you told Hyde. You still didn't believe how fast things escalated between Hyde and Adrien. A rivalry of dominance. Was it the fact they were both vampires? Probably. "I'd protect you and Yume with my life, angel" Hyde told you, "I didn't think I was going to end up fighting with him, either. But I'd rather take a beating then let him treat you the way he was" he added. What a sweetheart. It was very noble of him to do so, even at the cost of drawing blood. "You're very brave, Hideto. Will you really be okay though? You looked pretty bad afterwards" you asked him. How much did drinking your blood affect his recovery? "I'll be fine in a day or two with your help, my angel. I promise" he reassured you. You hoped so. No one likes seeing a loved one in any sort of pain. After a fight like that, people usually recover in a couple of weeks. But knowing his recovery will be fast was good news.

Since we were kind of stuck at the apartment, for safety reasons, we all decided to just get something easy to eat. So it was decided to order (chinese\pizza\mexican\other). Thankfully you and Yume had plenty of soda to go around for the occasion. The six of you sat down to enjoy dinner and talk, releasing a lot of the tension that was still around. "So does this guy know where you two live?" Ken asked, starting the discussion. Oh crap. Adrien does know. "Yea. We were all hanging out here not too long ago" you replied. Speaking of that, you made sure to block and delete that a*shole from your contacts. Nothing he could explain would save his a*s now. "Then we shouldn't leave them alone. What if that f*cker comes back tonight?", Ken was specifically talking to the rest of the band. He did make a point. With the nasty way Adrien was acting, he seemed like the type to go for payback. "That is a concern. Hyde can't stay here by himself while he is still healing. Are you volunteering to protect the ladies, Ken?" Yukihiro asked him. Ken stood up from his chair, "Give me the chance to get revenge on that b*stard. I'll gladly take it" he said with no hesitation. That's one way to say 'yes'. But you were sure he also wanted to stay here because of Yume. "Very well then. If he does show up again, be sure to let me and Tetsuya know right away. Though I doubt it, especially after how tore up he looked" added Yukihiro. Hyde really didn't hold back on attacking Adrien. "Yea. Hyde really f*cked him up, didn't he?" said Tetsuya. You were surprised to hear Tetsuya cuss at all. But it was valid. "That's because I taught him how to fight like a motherf*cken bada*s" Ken said proudly. Was that really true though? "I only learned how to fight because you pushed my buttons and made me beat your a*s on many occasions" Hyde added to the conversation. "Exactly. So I technically did teach you.Besides, it's fun pissing you off" Ken chuckled. "It's fun until you start running for your life begging me and Yukihiro to save you from Hyde's wrath saying things like 'he gonna kill me' and sh*t", Tetsuya commented but smiled as if remembering. "I'll admit, I was really asking for a beat down sometimes. But I did end up getting pretty good at defending myself", Ken said but enjoyed remembering. You didn't think they would fight to actually hurt each other, more like a sibling quarrel. But they were just being boys. "It did become a challenge after a while, but that's what's also fun about it. You never know what the other would try to do" Hyde said, enjoying the conversation. "That's true. So Adrien better watch his a*s. I've slipped up so many times thinking your height was a disadvantage. I think those were the worst beatings of my life" Ken laughed. You were glad they found it fun to them, even if it involved pain. Though when did boys do something that didn't involve pain?

Getting back to the main issue at hand, Ken and Hyde stayed with you and Yume for the night. You felt much safer with them being there. It was true that Adrien could possibly come back. The thought was scary to think about. After Tetsuya and Yukihiro went back to the suite, the four of you left stayed up for a while. Mostly talking with a movie to watch as just background noise. Even after just a few hours, Hyde already started to look better. Though his hand still needed time to heal. You noticed that it was a little hard for him to pick up things with it, so he'd end up using his other hand mostly. But it made you happy to see his bruises were getting better. "So Yume, since Hyde is sleeping in (y

)'s room, does that mean I get to sleep in your room?", Ken asked her, obviously flirting. You gave him points for asking so directly. "(y

) and I are dating. What's your excuse Ken?", Hyde asked him. He probably knew what Ken was thinking better than you knew. "Being with a beautiful lady, that's my excuse" ,Ken replied. What does Yume have to say about it though? You knew she did prefer Ken from anyone else in the band. But not sure she let him into her room after meeting him. "Sure you can sleep in my room" Yume agreed. Ken was about to celebrate, "On the floor" Yume added at the last second. You heard Hyde chuckle seeing the change in Ken's facial expression. "Well I guess I have to take what I can get" Ken sighed.

Eventually, you decided to retire to your room. Yume and Ken were going to stay up watching another movie. Hyde, of course, followed you so you could lie down together. "You can stay in here while I change, just turn around" you requested. Hyde didn't say anything and listened. You, of course, made sure he didn't turn around the whole time you were changing, even though you knew he wouldn't. You decided to wear the pajamas he gave you. After tossing your clothes into your laundry basket in the closet, you gave him permission to turn around. You sat on the bed and allowed Hyde to look around your room. Of course you had more posters of the band and some other things. But you made sure to put one particular poster away in the closet. It just makes it awkward for you if he sees it. Even though it wouldn't be a surprise that you'd have a poster with just him on it. "Want me to sign your posters for you?", Hyde joked. You smiled, "Very funny, koala bear. But feel free. I have a sharpie right here" you told him, adding to the joke. "I think it'd be cute. Will you let me write something on one of them?" He asked you for permission. It would be cute. Something you could see every day. You dug out a sharpie from one of your drawers and gave it to him. "Now it's your turn not to look", Hyde said and winked playfully at you. Ha ha. You turned around, so he could write in privacy.

After about a minute, he was finished. He chose the poster next to (favorite spot in your room). "I'm finished, my angel. You can look" Hyde told you. You looked for which poster he chose and walked closer to see what he wrote:

"Hideto....its beautiful" you whispered, a little speechless at the heartfelt poem he wrote. It was short, but it said a lot at the same time. "And I mean every word, my angel", Hyde told you, giving you a gentle forehead kiss.
