HYDE's POV
As I removed the tack from her hand and placed it on the side, I could smell something. I turned back to make sure (y
)'s hand was alright, but doing so was a mistake. I could see some of her blood coming out of her wound. Looking at it made me freeze. It was right there and so tempting. I just wanted more to come out of her. But before I could do anything, my vision was blocked and I was moved somewhere away from her. I could hear Yukihiro saying something. A few moments later, I saw Tetsuya taking her somewhere else. I wanted to go after her, but Yukihiro prevented me from moving. It kind of made me irritated. "Let me go" ,I told him, while I tried to move again. Yukihiro refused, "You need to calm down, your fangs and eyes are showing. Unless you want this to be the way she finds out, I suggest you stay right here. Tetsuya is getting her a band aide" he explained calmly. Maybe he was right. If I tell her, it should be while I can control myself. Thank goodness, Yukihiro was here with us. Would I have bit her? That would really have messed things up. I exhaled. "Now lean over the sink and pretend that blood makes you queasy" ,Yukihiro tells me. I wanted to ask him why, but I decided not to. He must've said something to cover my behavior, so I just went with it. I focused on my breathing, so I could quickly calm down and put my vampire side to sleep again.
Your POV
Tetsuya was very gentle, making sure he put some rubbing alcohol on the small hole and put a bandaid on it. "All better?" he asked you sweetly, making sure you didn't need anything else. You smiled and nodded, "Thank you Tetsuya" you told him. The two of you went back out to the main room. You desperately wanted to check on Hyde to see how he was doing. More so, how he was acting. You saw Yukihiro rubbing his back as he leaned over the kitchen sink trying to breathe. Did he really have a weak stomach from seeing blood? It wasn't uncommon for people to get sick from seeing blood. Guess that also debunks the vampire theory. Though his behavior was very odd and his eyes changed in those very few moments. Not like you could rewind to get a better look. Oh well. You'll leave the theory alone for now. You walked over to them, "Are you alright Hyde?" you asked him. You still were concerned for him either way. Hyde took another deep breath before turning to look at you, "I'm fine now. I didn't mean to scare you (y
)" he told you. You looked at his eyes now, to double check. They were normal. "It's okay. If you're all better, let's sit down so we can watch the next movie" you suggested to him. Hyde nodded, "Want to help me bring the snacks to the table?" he asked you. You agreed to help him and took the snacks to the table for everyone.
After the next two movies, it was time for dinner. Hyde had gotten up to use the restroom, while Yukihiro went to the kitchen to make a phone call for the food to be delivered. It would probably take at least 20 minutes for it to get here. You wanted to know what the food was, so you tried to listen to the order. "You'll like the food, don't worry about what it is" , said Testuya, who was the only one with you still on the sofa in front of the TV. But you were curious, though you sure he was right. You'll eat whatever it is. While you were alone with Tetsuya, you took an opportunity to ask him what he thought of vampires, just for sh*ts and giggles. Even if your theory kept on being proven then debunked not too long afterwards. It wouldn't hurt to ask someone. "Hey Tetsyua, do you think vampires are real? I know it's kind of a weird question. But I was watching a movie last night with my friends and was just wondering, you know. If people make these movies, where did the ideas come from? Could they be real?" you asked him while trying to work the idea into conversation. Tetsuya stopped what he was doing on his phone for a moment, "Who knows where people got the idea from. But I'm sure there are a lot of things we don't know. Vampire may be real or not. I wouldn't be surprised either way" he told you before continuing what he was doing. His answer was pretty valid. There's a lot of things we don't know for sure. "I see. You have a point. It would be interesting if they were real. I wonder how they would live in the modern day" you told him trying to see if he would add on in any way. "Who knows. Maybe they'd blend in even more now with all the technology and science we have now" he added. That's fair and very true. It would be much harder to find a modern day vampire for sure. You wondered if the other members would have the same reply. But you mostly wanted to know what Hyde would say. Maybe you'll ask him after dinner.
The food soon arrived. Ken brought the bags to the table. You were excited to see what it was. Hyde gave you your take out container and through the see-through lid, you saw it was curry. This was going to be so delicious. You saw that everyone had a different variation of curry. Ken had curry with thin slices of beef. Tetsuya had curry and dumplings. It looked like Yukihiro had curry with vegetables. You and Hyde had the same kind of curry and chicken katsu. You happily ate yours with no problem at all. "How is your curry, my angel?" Hyde asked, wanting to know what you thought. "Amazing" you happily replied and didn't have to even think about it. "I'm glad you're enjoying it" he smiled while continuing to eat his. "Nothing can beat the taste of curry. It's such a big comfort food for me" Tetsuya joined in the conversation. The five of you made light conversation about other types of food as you finished your dinner.
"Now that we're done with dinner, how about some drinks?" Yukihiro suggested to everyone, once we were all done. "Now you're speaking my language!" Ken said excited for alcohol. With food in our stomachs, at least the alcohol would be slower to take effect. Not like you were going to drink a lot anyways. "I'll get your drinks" Tetsuya offered to you and Hyde. "Thanks Tetsuya" you said politely and with a smile. You and Hyde went back to relax on the sofa. While everyone was busy doing something else, you decided this was the only time you were going to get to ask him what he thought about vampires. You had to know. Even if your theory was shot down yet again.
You took a breath and gathered a little courage, "I know this may be random, Hyde. But do you think vampires are real?" you asked him. For some reason, you regretted asking. But why? It's just a question. Hyde froze for a second before looking at you then looking away. He became awfully quiet as he sat there thinking of what he was going to say next. That wasn't a really good reaction. But you wanted to know what was on his mind, so you stayed quiet so he could answer. "I know they're real" ,he said, looking a bit sad for some reason. He didn't think they were real, he knew they were. But how? "Really? Why do you think so? Have you been bitten or something?" you asked him, trying to find out more. Your heart started to pound for some reason. Like your body knew something was coming. Hyde had turned his head completely away from you in shame, "Because I am a vampire" he said. You were stunned. Did you just hear that right? Did he just prove your theory right? You weren't expecting him to actually straight up confess like that. " You mean, you like to stay up late like a vampire, right?" you tried to play it off as if you didn't hear him right. You hoped he would fix his words. "No. (Y\N). I meant it literally. I am a vampire" Hyde told you a bit louder and more firmly this time. So you weren't just hearing things. You felt your muscles tense. You had to admit you were a bit afraid at this point. Your legs were locking up. This took a turn. "Vampires have fangs. You don't" you told him. It was a fact. If he did plan on showing you his fangs, you might just pass out.
The next few moments went by slowly. Hyde turned his head to look at you. Clearly you saw his eyes had changed to a deep red color. He opened his mouth wide enough for you to see two prominent canines. They were fangs. Vampire fangs. You weren't seeing things this time. Seeing the evidence clear as day made you jump up from your seat and scream. Now you really started shaking. This was literally true. He was a vampire. It made sense but you wanted him to prove you wrong even if you felt like it was true in your gut. You could feel your heart sink in your chest as the truth began to set in. Hyde stood up so the two of you were facing each other. "I-I didn't know how to tell you ... .I'm sorry" he said, getting upset. You could tell that this fact bothered him a lot. But right now your mind was on flight or fight mode and the first thing you wanted to do was run out of there to find a place to gather your thoughts. But your legs wouldn't move. Was he holding you down or something? The three other band members rushed to see what was wrong. "Everything alright you two....oh sh*t", Ken cursed as he realized what just went down. Wait if Hyde was one, were they too? Now you really were scared. Did they all lure you here or something? You managed to take one step backwards, preparing to run. But Hyde reached out towards you, "(Y\N) please.... Don't go" he said almost as if he was begging. The look in his eyes clearly shouted emotional pain. But why? What the hell was going on? Don't vampires lure people in so they could suck their blood? Like in the movies? Like in the books? That's where your mind wandered to in these moments and it scared you.
