I wake up and turn to see if John b is up. But when I did he wasn't there. He went to go get the gold "What a liar" I say getting up
I walk out of the hotel and a car stops in front of me. I start to walk away but someone grabs me and putting their hand over my mouth.
I turn to see Stubbs the guy who works for Terrance. He takes me back to the house as we wait for the girl who works for him, cleo. To bring John back back
"Bos, he's here. Hey found your boyfriend." She says walking in John b comes over to me "Hey. Listen. I just..." he starts to say "Liar." I say pushing him away
John B stumbles back into Stubbs who grabs him by the neck. "I wouldn't provoke him. It tends not to go so well. You can run but you can't hide John B." Terrance says "I got eyes and ears everywhere." He adds "Took you long enough." He tells cleo "Next time get him yourself" Cleo says "After all our hospitality you left without saying goodbye" Terrance says "Let us go" I tell him "I got 50,000 reasons why that ain't gonna happen" Terrance says "He didn't do anything" I tell him "Maybe he did. Maybe he didn't. I don't care. We let the courts decide. Bring him to the proper authorities." Terrance says Stubbs grabs John B by the back of his shirt and pulls him up to his feet. We wait until it's dark to try and break in John B is driving the truck and Cleo Stubbs and Terrance sit in the back "Home sweet home. Take us to your mansion Miss Fancy-pants" Terrance tells me "All right this is it" John B says and they all hide under a tarp. "You lied." I tell John b "I am very aware of that and I am very sorry. And I shouldn't have gone." He says "Is the gold even there?" I ask him "Uh... I think so" John B says "You think?" I ask We pull up to the security hut in the front of the house "Hey there" John B says "Yes. Yes." The man says on the phone "How are you?" John B asks him "T'll call Miss Finley about her dog" the man says "Miss Finley's dog" John B repeats him "One second." The man says putting the phone away from his ear "I'm actually just coming to pick up my leaf blower from um..." John B says trailing off. "Bay Line" I whisper to him "Bay Line I do a lot of work over there." John b tells him "Yep. Go ahead" the guy says "Thank you" John B says "I'm listening." The guy says going back on his phone
I get out of the car after we drive past the gate "Let's make this fast." I tell them "Gotta be pretty rich to have a waterfall in your front yard. You're full of surprises ain't you, Miss Rich?" Terrance says to me I pick up a shell that has an extra key in it "I absolutely love what you've done with the landscaping." Terrance says "Get in. We don't have all night. Go." I tell them after I opened the door I see a huge safe in the living room and I crouch down next to it "Okay let's see here." I mumble "Showtime girlie" Terrance tells me "Um..." I mumble typing in numbers "You best remember that combo" Terrance says. I try to open the door but it doesn't budge "I knew I should have never listened to you." He says "Usually he uses his birthday. Maybe I entered it wrong." I says trying it again but it still doesn't work "Chop-chop. Let's go" Terrance says "I'm trying" I tell him "What about Rose?" Terrance tells Stubbs "Yeah. Yeah. Yeah" Stubbs says running off then turns back around a few seconds later "Guys. Security's here!" He tells us Then someone knocks at the door "Let's get outta here. Should've never let you talk me into this." Terrance tells us "Rent-a-cops incoming" Cleo says John B quickly closes the safe as we start to run "Come on! Come on!" Stubbs yells "Yeah go go go go. We'll come back" John B tells me "Okay" I mumble As John b and I run up to the door Terrance closes it on us "No!" I yell "Terrance what are you doing?" John B asks him "You're the bait that's gonna slow 'em down. See you later" Terrance says "No! Terrance! Open the door!" John B yells "Terrance!" I yell "Hey!" John B yells again "John B they're coming. They're coming" I tell him John B and I run to hide behind the couch in the living room. "What do we do?" I ask him John b just hold up his finger to his mouth. "Search the whole place. They're in there somewhere." A man says "Split up and look around." He adds "I'll go upstairs and distract them" John B says "No no. You'll get caught" I tell him "What else do we have?" John B asks me "Have anything?" The man asks. "Shit. Okay. If you do that we have a boat here in the cove behind the property. I'll get the keys. Meet me there as soon as you can okay?" I tell him. "Okay" John B says I look over the couch. "Okay now." I tell him John B and I both get up and run. John b goes up the stairs as I make my way to the keys "I'm going upstairs! Hoo hoo hoo!" I hear John B yell "Got something?" I take off running to the tree where my family hides the key. I get them out and turn around to see Terrance with his gun pointed at me. "Give me the keys. Don't play with me rich girl. Give me the keys! You play silly games with me baby you get silly prizes. Don't try me. Give me the goddamn keys now. Get the keys Stubbs." Terrance says "No. No" I say Stubbs tries to grab the keys from me. "Get them out of her hand!" Terrance yells and I finally let go "Let's go." He says as him and Stubbs take off "I'm sorry" Cleo tells me before she running off "Shit" I say as I run back towards the house. I hear grunting and people fighting as I get closer "John B" I mumble and take off faster
