Part 1

"Stella" John B whispers to me as we lay down
"Hmm?" I say keeping my eyes closed
"Do you wanna get married?" John B asks me
"No" I say
"No?" John B asks
"No" I tell him
"Well how come?" John B asks me
"You don't have any prospects" I tell him say my eyes still closed
"You don't have any prospects either" John B says
"Fair" I say
"Well not anymore" John B laughs
"So it's not about the money?" I ask him
"Well I guess not. You're pretty good-looking"
John B says
"Stop." I laugh 
"I'm serious. Now come here." He says trying to get me to turn around
"I'm trying to sleep" I say turning around
"You wanna be a Pogue for life?" John B asks me
"I already am a Pogue for life. But if I say yes you're not allowed to die." I tell him

John b was looking at the gold while I was just laying on his shoulder
I hear footsteps making our way to us
"JB someone's coming." I tell him
John b quickly puts the gold up as Captain Terrance walks through
"Morning lovebirds. Coming into port. Best not be onboard without a passport if you know what I'm saying." He tells us
"Yeah we hear you" John B tells him
"You guys can go on my bridge" Captain
Terrance says

"Through here?" John B asks him as we walk
"Mm-hmm." Captain Terrance nods
"Come on. Y'all need to hustle." He tells us as we climb up
"Hey I really appreciate you Captain" John B says
"Thank you" I tell him
"Stay put. Don't come out" Captain Terrance says as he starts to close the door
"You got it. Thank you" John B says

John B and I look out the window as we pull into Nassau. John b looks like he's in a trance looking at everything
"What? Dude I've never been to a foreign country before." He says as he saw me looking at him
"Well then. Welcome to Nassau" I smile
"Wow. It's beautiful" John B says
I take his hand and point it at my family's house. "That is my family's house." I tell him
"Holy super Kook! I mean maybe we could crash for a couple nights?" John b laughs
"Hey Dad I'm alive by the way, and I'm also thinking about getting married. Can we crash?" I laugh
"Yeah you know maybe search around the house for a couple things you might have left. Like the gold you stole from us" John B adds but I could tell he wasn't fully joking
"John B we are fugitives" I tell him
"Yeah" John B says
"In a foreign country" I say
"I get it. Yeah." John b says
"We just have to be careful" I say
"Yeah. I got it. Don't worry about it" John B tells me
As we pull in John B and I see cops coming on board.
"He double crossed us. That asshole." I say
"We've gotta get out of here" John B tells me
"How?" I ask him
"Uh... I'm gonna break the window." He tells me

John B smashes the windows open and I climb out, John b right behind me.
"Hey stop! Stop!" I hear a man yell
We get into the dock and jump over the railing and take off
"Come on!" I tell John B
"Get him!" A man yells
"Come on. No! Run!" Another man yells
"Get 'em!" He adds
"Excuse me. Sorry" I yell trying to run past people
"Left. Excuse me. Behind you." I say
"Left?" John B asks
"Yes" I say as we turn quickly
The cops and Terrance go running by.
"Okay. I think I know of a place where we can hole up okay?" I tell him panting
"Okay." He says
"Follow me" I say as we start walking again

I take John B to the Fairmont Hotel.
"Stella are you sure about this?" John B asks me
"It's the safest place for us to be" I tell him
"A five-star hotel?" John B asks
"Just trust me" I say
I walk in front of John b as we inter the hotel
"Looks a little spendy no?" John B laughs
"Just act like you know what you're doing" I say
"All right" John B says
"And smile and say hi to people" I tell him
"All right. Okay. Just...Hi." John b nods to someone walking by
I grab John b's hand and walk forward
"Where are you going?" He asks
"This way." I tell him
"Excuse us." I say
"Sorry" John B says as he bumped them a bit
"It's okay" the woman tells him
"Excuse me. Excuse me. May I help you?" The guy at the front desk asks us
"Actually yes. Do you have any bottled water. Maybe Voss Fiji or..." I start to list
"No." He says
"No no. I-- Oh." I smile as a woman walks past with a tray of drinks. I grab two of them and give one to John b
"Oh. Thank you. I am so parched. I cannot wait to get out of these clothes. What time is our reservation?" I ask John b
"Uh our reservation..." John B starts to trial off
"Yes our reservation" I say looking at him
"It's at uh 4:30-ish" John B tells him.
"Reservation?" the man asks us
"Yes" John B says
"You have a reservation?" the man asks us
"Yes. We have a harbor-view king on the third floor and we've been patrons of your hotel for years. And I'll be very sure the manager knows of your hospitality... Elliott thank you" I say then walk away. John b following behind me as I start to walk up some stairs
"You stay here?" He asks me
"Yeah. I mean not anymore" I say
"Hey good day." The maid says walking past us
I lead John b up to the roof.
"Okay. You know what? You didn't tell me you lived on a beach filled with rollers that just slide in all day" John B laughs
"Yeah we used to come here as kids when we were building the vacation house right over there" I tell him
"I bet that's where the gold is" John B says
"Promise me you won't do anything stupid" I tell me
"Well Star I do stupid things all the time without realizing it" John B says
"No. I know you JB. I know you wanna go over there. But there is a gate. There's security. There's patrols. It's a death trap" I tell him
"Okay but just think about it. If I can get some money... No real money okay? I can get a lawyer. I can clear my name. We can go home" John B says.
"Look the gold is only gonna be there for a few days and after that it's gone. It's gone forever. The world thinks we're dead. It's perfect. We just go hop over the gate steal some gold." John b tells me
"No. John. You are wanted. It's just way too dangerous" I say
"Yeah" John B sighs
"Please promise me. Promise me you won't." I say
"I promise" John B says
"Besides we've got a super sweet crib." I smile

John b and I sit on the chairs enjoying the weather.
"Not to bring down the mood or anything but... that beach right over there" I say pointing
"Yeah?" John b says
"That's the beach my mom strangled me" I say staring at it memories flooding my head
"Star I'm so sorry. You didn't deserve that" he says
"Yeah well it was years ago so it's fine" I say trying to put on a smile
"I know what will lift your spirits" John b smiles
"What?" I ask
"This" he says holding up a phone
"We're going to send a message from beyond the grave" John B tells me
John B and I take a selfie and he sends it to Sarah Kie JJ and Pope.
"WTF is this you???" Kie responds
"Is JJ there?" John B asks
"I'm here Bree" JJ says
"Did you pimp my shortboard?" John B asks him
"Laying super low in Nassau. Can you clear my name? Wanna come home" John b says
"Hell yeah we'll clear your name boy" JJ says
"Be in touch. P4L" John B says
"Good I miss them. I hope Sarah is staying with one of them, I kinda left her with my dad" I laugh
"The crew will take care of her" John b tells me
"Yeah I know they will" I smile

John b and I start walking down from the roof
"We gotta find some food" I say
"Hi." The same maid says
"Hey" John B nods he waits for her to past before he puts the phone back up
"Let's go" I tell him
"Check one. Check one two. Check check. How that sound? Good?" A man says at the courtyard
"Go check it out?" I ask him
"Definitely" he laughs

"Get the chairs over here man." A guy says, it looks like they are setting up for some wedding. But John b takes a plate and starts to fill it up
"You're taking the whole thing?" I ask him
"Yeah. Come on." John B says
The band starts to play a song and John b puts his plate down
"Hey Val." He smiles
"Hey Vlad." I smile back
"Do you wanna dance?" John B asks me
"Yes" I say
John B takes me under the canopy
"Here?" I ask him
"Yeah. Right here" John B says
I wrap my arms around his neck slow dancing to the song. We both lean in for a kiss and when we pull apart someone starts to whistle and clap.
John b and I look around laughing and smiling
"We gotta go" John B says
"Yeah" I say smiling as we walk off
